Just a 5-minute drive from the beach, the stone-built Teacher's House offers self-catered traditional units. It is located in a fruit-tree garden, around 100 metres from Maroni village centre. Featuring marbled floors and beamed ceilings, all accommodation at Teacher's House guest house includes a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. Each air-conditioned unit comes with a dining area and a satellite TV. Some include a furnished balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast is prepared daily with fresh ingredients. A communal dining area with TV and a fireplace is also available. Local taverns and restaurants can be found within 100 metres. The complex is situated around 30 km from Larnaka Airport. Free parking is possible nearby the property.

Very quaint. Beautiful village although unfortunately when we were there the village was being dug up for road improvements. The views are wonderful. It was rural and rustic but clean inside. Facilities were basic but in keeping. Breakfast was free and fresh and wonderful. Host was helpful and cooked our breakfast.

Location could be great, with parking across the street and a very nice view. But as there is road work going on, it is a hassle to get there, especially with bags. Breakfast (eggs, bacon, olive bread, fresh greens, coffee or tea) was freshly prepared by the hosts in the yard’s outdoor kitchen and fine. Heating (AC unit) worked well.

Charming accommodation. Restoration well done, especially with reeds and six-sided beams. The breakfast courtyard is lovely. Ideally, you would have a room on the 2nd floor. Although the courtyard is lovely it can be noisy for rooms on the first floor. Breakfast starts at 8:30 so not a big issue. The washing machine is the facility's machine and is located in the kitchen but is available for guest use. The apartment has very little in the way of kitchen utensils etc if you wanted to make your own meals. There are some restaurants nearby especially a Resort Edition Finesse for fine dining (only 2 minutes walk) and more casual in Puazza Maroni. The host is a charming fellow and breakfast chef. Very knowledgeable about the town. Unfortunately, there is construction nearby making it a bit challenging to access the parking across the street from the Teacher's House. The host will send directions. If you don't have regular access to wifi request information at least a day in advance. The hist communicates via WhatsApp.

The owner Antonis is very friendly and supportive, speaks excellent English. Service personal also very friendly and qualified. Nice an freshly prepared breakfast served in a beautiful surrounding (Old Coffee Shop plus courtyard). Upstairs rooms with nice view.

“It's a super quiet village with not much going on but a good experience for a few days”
I wanted to stay in a rustic home in a rurual setting and that's what this was. It's not fancy furniture or fancy aesthetics- it's charming though.

“Beautiful location”
Great location in a small village on the top of a hill. Very friendly and enthusiastic owner. Room was beautifully and well equipped, very relaxing place. Delicious and individually prepared breakfast. Great stay!

Antonis was a great host, everyday made fresh breakfast, which was excellent. The room has a great rustic esthetic and the bed was comfortable. The village of Maroni is small, quiet and very nice.

The location is really nice in the town next to the beach and not far from the airport in Larnaca (if you rented a car) the apartment is spacious and pleasant.
