“Adequate overnight stop - Host is a nice lady”

My Brother and I needed an overnight stop en route back to UK We arrived about 1930hrs We needed a meal Host (Nice Lady) directed us to Les Tuileries Restaurant 6km away Evening meal was Excellent

The place is very nice and cosy. Location is very quiet and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing! Host is very helpful and nice person. We stayed here only for one night, but we believe that a longer stay would be also perfect.

Quiet village location, and garage parking for our motorbikes. Comfortable room. Breakfast is typical continental fayre.

The hosts were very Friendly. They called me right after we maken the booking to ask what time we would arrive.. When we arrived someone came and helper us, he asked us at what time we would like to have the breakfast. The beeakfasg was very lovely… We really loved the stay

“Real french chambre d'hôtes experience with profound friendliness”

First and foremost I would like to mention the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner: she even offered to carry one piece of luggage upstairs without being asked and she brought extra cheese for breakfast as the marmalade is too sweet for me. And I had a real chambre d'hôtes experience having breakfast together with a french couple and their adult daughter. Ideal if you want to improve on your language skills. Because of this I consider going back when the occasion arrives.

“Our stay in Les Coquelicots”

The rooms are located in a house in a fairly small French village. We had two rooms next to each other upstairs. Two bathrooms. They looked neat. Excellent beds. We slept well. Had a nice French breakfast. Was fine. We stayed there for 1 night, but it would also be great to discover Metz, for example.

Good stopover for 1 night on our way back from Italy to UK. Lovely breakfast. Good local space to walk our dog.

Breakfast was very good

At breakfast, the host was very unfriendly. He never asked if we needed something or if everything was ok, but went away straight after we sat down. Then if we asked for tea, he said something like ‘why couldn’t you have asked this 10 min ago?’. Also, when we asked for a glass of water, he said something like why could my husband just not get it from the tap using my glass which contained still orange juice. Such unfriendly behaviour towards guests is unacceptable. This is unfortunate, given the other host was very friendly and helpful in the evening and the place was overall nice, clean and good.
