I really liked the location of the property. It was in the center of the city close to almost everything such as restaurants, cafes, markets etc

“A very comfortable Christmas in snowy Mariefred”
Excellent location in Mariefred, within walking distance of the castle and the shopping area. A great living area with dining table and kitchenette, and a comfortable bedroom, very cosy despite the chilly weather outdoors.

“If you want to explore Mariefred for a few days its one of the best budget options, kichen inkluded.”
Super central location with the supermarket right around the corner. You can have breakfast in the gib hotel in town but it cost extra. The room has a kitchen and feels like a small apartment

“Cute place in a story book town.”
Great location, good sized room. Easy to deal with Gustav and he allowed us to use the bicycles after our check out. He also permitted us to leave our bags while we looked around town, before our ferry back to Stockholm.

Fantastic location at the heart of Mariefred. Excellent room and add-on bicycles to roam around Mariefred. A perfect cosy homely atmosphere for a relaxing weekend with family next to Gripsholm castle and the Järnvägsstation. Look forward to staying again here. Loved it very much. Thank you.

“Great vibes in this quaint Mälardal pearl.”
So quiet. Mariefred is a very nice little village and this hotel is in the middle of it. 5 minutes walk to the castle, 1 minute to a grocery store, book store etc and cafes. The room was clean and cozy with windows that could be opened. I took my morning smoke 50 steps away, on a bench looking out over the water and the castle, (attached pic)

Instructions for open the door and to get the key were good, but in Swedish. The room was clean and relatively well equipped. Quiet.
