Set in a 800-year-old stone mansion with Arabic architecture, the historic Dara Konagı in Mardin offers stone rooms with plasma TVs and minibars. For relaxation, there is a hot tub and a garden. Nicely refurbished old house in a good location in the old city, beautiful view from the roof terrace. The single-bed room was basic and cramped, but clean. The breakfast was very good.

Dara Konagi was a traditional stone mansion, and beautifully kept, with 2 terraces overlooking Mesopotamian Plains. This was wonderful to enjoy space and time, from the busy main street. The staff were wonderful, kind and caring, they allowed me to move to a room with a window, and did a small load of washing for me. I felt at home. Thank you

Dara is perfectly located near the high street, very clean and spacious. The owners are very welcoming, be sure to make friends there and you will definitely feel at home. There is definitely more to it than it seems. It was one of the unforgettable holidays for me… will definitely go back and I strongly recommend you to go. You can be sure that you will find more than you are looking for. I was alone and did not feel like a stranger at all. They immediately provided everything I needed in my room. They helped me with the places I would visit and told me that I could contact them if I had any problems while traveling alone. I definitely felt very safe. I felt like I had returned home that I had left years ago. Thank you Dara! Thank you Mardin!

Everything was perfect, the location is the best for Mardin, breathtaking views from the rooftop. The bedroom was super comfy and beautiful; it had a very authentic decoration and all good amenities. I could talk for hours about the breakfast, the best I have eaten in Türkiye (it is very big be prepared). And finally the staff was super kind and helpful. Thanks again for everything, I will be back for sure!

It is close to everything you need in the city.. very helpful staff… very good price comparing to other places.. very nice view from the main terrace. It is so difficult to find parking place for the car.. but one of the staff members help me to find parking place near by..

“Thankfully, it was just one night for us!”
We booked this hotel for one night since we arrived a day earlier than planned, and our original hotel was fully booked. The hotel is well-located in the old town, and there’s a large paid parking lot above it where you’ll always find a spot for 300 lira per day. Breakfast was excellent, and there was a very kind woman who set up the table. That’s probably all for the positives. oh, also a great view from the terrace)
