“"Notre Bastide" is a gem, close to Sarlat and main attractions in Dordogne, which we recommend!”

Wonderful place, very close to Sarlat. We were very well welcomed from the owners. Actually it is a big house with three rooms for guests and a separate place for the owners, so you can feel yourself like being at home and at the same time being independent. The owners are a nice and kind couple, who welcomed us very warmly with soft drinks and small biscuits, giving us the time to talk a little bit, so we could know each other from the beginning. They explained us everything around, answered all of our questions and even made us a reservation at one of the restaurants in Sarlat for our dinner. The place is quiet, clean and you have everything necessary for a nice holiday. The breakfast was home made, served by the owners, and shared with us. We were feeling like a family, chatting not only with the owners, but also with the rest of the tourists, which is a great way to make communications. I fully recommend this place, especially if you want to deep in the French culture and way of living.

“Superb hosts”

What a delight this was! Our hosts were simply marvelous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was beautifully designed and decorated and led directly to the dining lounge area. It was clear that a lot of thought had been given to the architecture of the building. The evening meal was superb and started with a lovely cocktail. It was like being in a Michelin star restaurant. Although we had to leave early the following morning so couldn't have a proper breakfast we were given some beautiful pastries to take with us for our journey. It was clear that our hosts took great pride in everything they did and the conversation over dinner was very entertaining. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting the region.

Wow, wow, wow would rate it more than a 10 if we could. Didier and Gisele treated us like family and the breakfast and the evening meal was exceptional. We loved them so much we are looking to book next year.

The place is near Sarlat and easy to locate. The owners received me warmly and had a nice chat with them before going to my room. I was travelling with my motorbike and needed to rest a bit given that the day was edtremely hot. The room was as expected by the photos on their website, with a new aircon unit that they had installed a year ago. It really made a difference. The entire property is new, about 5 years old, and it is done with an exquisite taste for both, the rooms and the living room & kitchen; i was impressed by how the property was organizad. The pool was great. I asked to have diner at the property, and they were so nice to have dinner with me; The plates were well prepared, insisting on the local ingredientes that they were purchasinag around their property; they knew every single producer.. We had a great time and went back to bed to have a deservid rest; ah, they even offered me a cocktail, fantastic., The following morning i had a superb breakfast, with an egg, ham, and anything ese you can think of. I travel a lot and try to always stay in B&B, and i have to say that this is among the top three I have ever been, Congrats to the owners!

“Fabulous Place to stay with lots to do and see in the area.”

We were made very welcome by Didier & Giselle from the moment we arrived with a welcome cold drink and home-made pastry. The property was exceptional both inside and out and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was all home-made to our order with lots of choice on the buffet - it was delicious! We also had dinner cooked by our hosts to a high class restaurant standard which was superb! This is a clean spacious property. It is well equipped and situated in a very nice location. The hosts were very welcoming. They serve delicious food, all made from local produce.

Breakfast on the patio was amazing. The hosts prepared freshly baked goodies each morning. Everything was done with great care and attention to detail. The pool and jacuzzi was a great was to end a hard day of sightseeing!

We had an amazing week in this wonderful b&b. The place is comfortable, clean, well equipped and above all, the owners make you feel like being at home. The breakfasts are amazing with lots of homemade products. On request the owners make you as well a star level dinner!
