“Relaxing stay near the Morvan with fantastic food & hosts”

This place exceeded all expectations. If you are looking for a very comfortable place to relax in Burgundy away from the main cities/towns - this is the place. Fantastic breakfast, eveni ng meals, wine and hospitality. We enjoyed walking the Morvan lakes in daytime and relaxing on the terrace with a wine and book after before a beautiful dinner.

Barro and Katinka were exceptional hosts, the property was a rural idyll, with excellent play facilities for families but also a very relaxing garden for those travelling in couples or alone. As the property was in a rural location, the excellent breakfast and evening menu prepared by Barro and Katinka was all the more welcome. Would thoroughly recommend for those wanting a quiet retreat close to Dijon, Beaune and the Burgundy wine region. There was a lovely breakfast and evening vibe when we stayed.

The location was wonderfully peaceful, and we felt truly cared for throughout our stay. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. The real highlight, though, was the food! Dinner is an absolute must if you stay here! Breakfast felt like a feast, with so many delicious options. Overall, we had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend it.

The property and grounds were beautiful, renovated with love, and you really feel it! The food was also fantastic and the local beer and wine were great. The kids loved the garden and play area too. Katinka and Barro were fabulous hosts.

Amazing welcome from Katinka and Barro. It was a privilege to be the first customers of the season. We enjoyed the table d'hote with our two children (especially the wine recommendation), and the breakfast was outstanding. Rooms were comfortable with an excellent shower. Lovely quiet location, we appreciated the garden and the peace.

The hosts were incredibly gracious, and the venue was exceptional. It's a pity we couldn't stay longer. The farm featured charming chickens and cats, and it was beautifully designed. The food was fantastic, and there was an extensive selection of wines available.

Unbelievable setting. Lovely room and outside space. The pool was really clean and a lovely way to spend an hour after driving. The couple running the place were so friendly and the food was absolutely stunning.

Barro en Kathinka were excellent hosts giving us a warm welcome and home-feeling. Their properties with outstanding facilities were perfect to relax (esp for families) and their home-made food was heaven!

The feeling there is unforgettable. With all the comforts and attention to detail and somehow a feeling of home and simplicity. Dont miss a meal, prepared by the hosts and with gorgeous tastes. Lovely day trips in the place of great wines (but they've got a great collection at good price so we drank bottles of premiere cru I won't forget).

Quite and clean place with the great host

An exceptional stay, peaceful and amazing guests! Baro and Katinka are the best hosts you can expect. My kids rated the experience as the one of a 5 star hotel 😀. We felt among friends . The food was fabulous !
