Overview
This hotel enjoys an idyllic location in the quiet Michelbach district, a 2-minute drive from Pharmapark Behringwerke and a 7-minute drive from Marburg town centre. The spacious rooms at Hotel Stümpelstal feature modern décor. Rooms have large windows, which overlook the garden. A full breakfast buffet is served each morning. “Great little business hotel, ideal for one or two night stays.”
The rooms were as advertised and we were allowed to check in 30 minutes before actual check in time. Free minibar (the first fill) and unlimited free coffee/tea from a very good coffee machine in the entrance hall. The property has an excellent restaurant with very good food. This is particularly good if you only stay for one night and don’t have to search and potentially drive to eat.

The hotel is very good and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The complimentary minibar is a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is cozy, and the location is slightly away from the city, which makes it quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is quite good and costs €9 per person. There is also parking available.

“Worth the visit. plenty of parking and interesting places to visit around the area.”
The hotel was well presented; the food excellent on our first night but second night not good maybe the owner was not on site that night. The room was well presented and bed so comfortable. Glad we found this hotel and the owners so helpful to us.

We had a wonderful short stay and would absolutely recommend it! The hotel itself is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully designed. Every space is thoughtfully arranged to provide comfort. The restaurant was outstanding, offering delicious food with excellent service—definitely a highlight of our stay! Everything about our experience was positive, from the cozy and well-equipped rooms to the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!
