The breakfast had very limited fruit selection and my wife was not impressed with the cooked breakfast and it seemed that there was too many guests and not enough room between tables

“Not a “luxury hotel””

I booked this hotel expecting a genuine luxury experience, but unfortunately it fell well short of that standard. While the hotel itself may look impressive at first glance, the overall service and guest experience were disappointing and certainly not what I would expect from a luxury resort. The biggest issue throughout our stay was the attitude of the staff. On multiple occasions, staff members came across as rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. Rather than feeling welcomed as guests, we often felt like we were inconveniencing them whenever we asked a simple question or requested assistance. Good customer service is one of the key elements that defines a luxury hotel, and sadly that was completely lacking here. Another major disappointment was the sun lounger situation. The hotel operates a booking system for sun loungers because there simply aren’t enough available for the number of guests staying at the resort. In my opinion, this is unacceptable for a hotel advertising itself as luxury. During our stay we had to wait approximately two hours before a sun lounger became available, despite spending a significant amount of money on our holiday. Having to queue or wait for basic facilities completely defeats the purpose of a relaxing holiday. A luxury hotel should provide enough facilities to comfortably accommodate all of its guests, not create unnecessary competition for somewhere to sit by the pool. It was frustrating to see guests constantly checking availability and waiting around instead of enjoying their holiday. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the poor customer service and inadequate pool facilities seriously let it down. There is a significant difference between a hotel with luxury décor and one that actually delivers a luxury experience. Unfortunately, this hotel is the former rather than the latter.

We had a wonderful stay at Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella celebrating my stepdaughter’s 18th birthday. The location is fantastic, right on the beachfront and within easy walking distance of Marbella Old Town. The hotel is modern, stylish and spotlessly clean, with a lovely atmosphere throughout. Although there was an issue with our birthday package on arrival, the Guest Relations team handled it brilliantly. They were genuinely concerned, kept in touch throughout our stay and kindly provided complimentary bottles of cava on two occasions, which was very much appreciated and made my stepdaughter feel very special. The beach and poolside team were particularly attentive, always happy to help and proactive in finding us sunbeds together. I really appreciated the effort they made to ensure we could relax together by the pool.

Great location- 1st line, very close to promenade and Old Town. Reach variety of tasty and nice food for breakfast. Great SPA Center with great facilities- pull, jacuzzi, saunas and friendly staff. Friendly and useful reception staff. A lot of nice restaurants, pubs and taverns around. Nice outdoor pool, small sandy beach at the coast.
