It was a relaxed atmosphere. Access to beach. Nice pool although chlorine was strong. Nice food. Brilliant sunsets.

We have very much enjoyed ending our month in Sri Lanka at The Amagi Beach Hotel. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood, which is exactly what we wanted. The beach, pool, staff and food (prepared by Ruwun) have all been excellent and we haven’t wanted for anything. There was a slight problem with our booking which was address by the management and overcome quickly and agreeably. I would like to especially thank Malani and Thushan for looking after us. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend to friends and family.

The staff is very friendly and the hotel was good. The beach is very nice and the pool was also good. There is not much to see in the town around the hotel, but that is ok, if you just want to relax at the hotel.
