The apartment was terribly dirty. There was other people's hair all over the place. People who come into the rooms, the cleaning staff, they don't clean. They do a very poor job. In the kitchen, all the dishes were dirty from the previous tenants, including all the spoons and forks. The refrigerator was dirty, the kitchen sink was clogged, and water stood in it for two days. It's terrible. I don't recommend it.

A few hundred metres from the bay, we found ourselves in a little slice of serenity. Despite some construction in the surrounding area, the peace was undisturbed. The views were of the countryside with the quiet hum of nature, it was the kind of backdrop that makes you unwind. Our apartment was on the 2nd floor of a well-kept building, complete with off-road parking. Convenience was key: a supermarket, coffee shop, & even a street food vendor were just a hop, skip, & jump away, perfect for lazy mornings. Inside, the space was clean and functional. The kitchenette, dining area, & living room were comfortably sized. We didn’t bother with the TV, so can't comment, but everything in the kitchen worked just as it should. The dining table was spacious enough for meals & card games alike. The couch had seen better days — a few stains here & there, but nothing that spoiled the vibe. The shaded balcony was a welcome retreat from the sun, ideal for those who prefer a cooler corner to unwind. A drying rack was thoughtfully provided. Bedrooms were roomy, with plenty of storage & blissful air conditioning. Shutters kept the morning sun at bay, & mosquito screens on every window & balcony door meant we needn't worry about mozzy's. The mattresses leaned firm with a bit of bounce, but the pillows were really comfortable. Fresh laundry & provided towels added to the comfort. The bathroom was spacious, with a shower over the bath. A couple of quirks, the door handle had a habit of falling off, & the sink plug gave up the ghost mid-stay, but nothing that got in the way. We didn’t mention it to Nikos, the owner, only because we’re a quiet bunch. But knowing his helpful nature, I’m sure he’d have sorted it in a heartbeat. One thing to note, the shower’s high-pressure setting could turn the bathroom into a mini pool. Luckily, mops were on hand. And speaking of Nikos — he’s a gem.

Great location. Not along the road, so the noise of passing traffic did not interfere at all. Very close to the sea. The owner of the apartment Nikos was very kind from the first day of our stay. We were missing two small things in the kitchen utensils. After my request, he bought and brought them the same day. The room was large with two separate lockable bedrooms and a large kitchen with a dining table and a sofa. A very long private balcony. And the most important thing. We had a flight at 16:30. Nikos allowed us to check out of the appartments at 14:00, so that we would not have to sit at the airport all day.

The hosts were very nice and helpful. They were proactively helping us make our stay and trip easy by, for example, giving us directions and suggestions about all necessary / interesting places on the island.
