The hospitality of Marirosa and her husband even exceeded the famous Calabrian one! They waited for me at the train station and even gave me a ride to the old town center. In the garden one has an exceptional view on the sea and the mountains!

We chose this as a stop over when driving to Sorrento. Wow…we were so surprised at what a beautiful setting the B&B was. Also Maratea was so an amazing place to visit. Thanks to Marirosa and her husband for looking after us

“Great place to stay in central location.”

The hosts were very helpful and the location was great, very central. We were sent very clear instructions on how to get there. The access to parking was a little hard as our car was quite big.The accomodation had amazing views and had everything you needed including a very good breakfast. Really recommend going to Restorante Santa Lucia de Biagio. The food and service were fabulous . It’s a small family run restaurant near the B&b.

Welcomed by hosts who offered a wonderful experience. We were picked up from station and warmly welcomed to their beautiful rooms. Conversation was converted immediately from Italian to English with app so we knew exactly what was on offer. Beautiful peaceful view over valley and the sea from the balcony. Meticulous attention to detail with cleanliness, furnishings and supplies. Breakfast was catered for with a stocked fridge and additional food in morning. Lovely walks to the coast and up the hill.

“Perfect accommodation with kind, caring people!”

We were greeted on arrival by the whole smiling family who made us feel instantly welcome. The setting of this home is stunning. All 3 spotlessly clean ooms have a beautiful sea view and a terrace from which you can enjoy it. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the potted cacti were all in bloom during our stay. There is ample parking. Breakfast baked goods (still warm from the oven this morning!) were delivered to our door each morning to complement the coffee, juices, water, milk, yogurts and other goodies in the fridge and on the breakfast hutch which also has a Nespresso machine and a microwave..even the china is pretty. If you eat out - make La Tenuta del Barone at "must" place to dine. Their tasting menu is incredible - one for 2 people is more than enough food! We also loved A Fuoco Lento very close to the B&B. We are grateful to have stayed at nonnAngela and cannot recommend it enough. Grazie grazie grazie!!! Rob and Cathy

The room is spacious and the hosts have thought of many little details making the stay even better, and they are very, very helpful. It is immaculately clean. A really great breakfast: Freshly baked croissants, two sorts of cake, a fridge full of yoghurts, juice, milk; an espresso-machine and ample supply of capsules - etc. etc.. The view from the veranda outside the room is stunning. Maratea is a wonderfull little town with two excellent restaurants at the harbour and a beautifull old city perched on the cliffs above. Calm, pretty, and inviting. I will definately return!
