Charming and kind hostess Noémie who messaged us about midday to say the apartment was ready for us to check in any time. Such a lovely change from the inflexible hosts who have late check-ins and will not accommodate an earlier arrival at a reasonable time. The apartment was tiny but functional and had an inner courtyard which was very secure for our bikes. Great location within easy walking distance of town and restaurants.

Noemie was a charming and helpful host. The apartment is lovely, full of character, very rustic chic and French style. It's situated 50 metres from a delightful little park in front of the elegant Hotel de Ville, and about 300m from the quayside, where there are good walks and a variety of places to eat. Marans is a lovely small town with many cobbled streets. The main road through does have heavy lorries and a lot of traffic, but although the apartment was only 40m from it everything was quiet and peaceful.

Everything we needed in a self contained apartment. Madame was very friendly and gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant. Our bikes were safely stored in the delightful courtyard. A very relaxed environment.

“Quality, tranquility, tasteful”
It was an apartment without breakfast. Bakery and supermarket are closeby. Along the quai and in the port a few restaurants with eg fresh oysters and mussels.

“Beautiful courtyard apartment”
Marans is an excellent location for us as it exactly halfway between our house in the Dordogne and St Malo ferry port. We love both these apartments, they're very well-designed for use by two people and the garden court yard is a bonus.

“Perfection”
This apartment is finished to a very high standard and is beautifully furnished too. It is a good size for two people. The courtyard provided a good place to store our bikes overnight. The owners were very helpful.
