Fantastic place, awesome views, amazing staff

“Blissful nature stay”

We loved this hotel - we had the garden balcony room and we had a sloth sleeping right in front of us on 2 occasions in just a 4 night stay. The pool was blissful and you'll see scarlet macaws nesting in a tree by the pool. We had an issue with our key in the early hours of the morning and Dennys was super responsive and got the issue fixed straight away.

The deluxe room was ‘compact’ but attractive and clean. The best thing was the spacious balcony with a variety of seating and stunning view. Lovely swimming pool with lush planting around it next to the breakfast area. Macaws in the dead palm tree. Supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. Listening to the Manuel Antonio howler monkeys!

We booked a Deluxe Double Room w Balcony & Sea View and couldn't have been happier. "Balcony" doesn't do justice to what you actually receive which is a huge sheltered terrace with sofas, rocking chair, table and hammock. The most ideal space to step out to every morning, soak in the view of the Pacific and see the monkeys and macaws who visit the hotel daily. The pool and grounds are intimate and beautiful and fulfil the promise of the boutique hotel experience. Credit should be paid to the groundskeeping stuff who keep the environment clean, colourful and naturally stunning. Set back and uphill from the beach so will require transport to access (cab, car, local bus - can walk but it's hard going) but this suited us perfectly as we found the centre of town quite overwhelming and a bit touristy. Plenty of lovely restaurants, cafe and shops within five minutes walk of the hotel so you're far from isolated.

Excellent host who provided everything you needed to know and more. Lovely clean room with beautiful balcony. Happy hour cocktails from 3pm to 6pm. Freshly cooked breakfast. Beautiful gardens and spotting beautiful birds including two pairs of macaws nesting.

Nice swimming pool Good Wi Fi Loads of wild life. Birds monkeys all visible from balcony. AC worked well which was appreciated as air temps were 30 +

Nice hotel, just as beautiful as the pictures. Staff is friendly and will help you with tours in the area.

Big rooms - great location with walking distance to everything in MA. Bus stop nearby takes you to Quepos or the national park. Fantastic wildlife on premises.

The gardens were so beautiful. Like a hidden oasis. And the view from the balcony! Incredible. Sitting watching g the macaws and toucans fly by - just magic!

“Lovely, relaxing stay near the beach”

Wonderful hotel! Dennys was very welcoming and helpful and breakfast was delicious! The pool was lovely, particularly after a hot day at the beach! There is lots of wildlife to be seen - we saw a parrot within minutes of arriving and a whole troop of monkeys with their babies were nearby one afternoon. Room was perfect with lovely AC - definitely appreciated in the heat! Super close to some lovely restaurants and the beaches are all easily accessible either by public transport or taxi/uber.

Nice place. You feel like you are in the jungle. The only minus was the lady in the reception was not so helpful and service minded.

The property is a little oasis of calm. The view is fantastic and we just loved chilling in the pool watching monkeys and birds on the trees all around. The room was perfect, clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was amazing and Dennis, the host, was truly welcoming and always a pleasure to chat to.

Really loved our stay here! Perfect location, lovely garden and pool, excellent breakfast.
