Staff was friendly, the building was beautiful and historia and our room was cosy. we had the economy room so we had a shared bathroom. I was dubious about this because I’ve seen some horrible arrangements in my past. However, in Mäntän Klubi, it worked flawlessly and I had no complaints. there were plenty of bathrooms, I never once had to wait and the bathrooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was very basic but adequate. odd thing was, they had bacon but no eggs…

“Unexpected”
The place is a time machine to a mythic 30s/60s/80s Finland in a pompous palace exuding past industrial grandeur. Even the receptionist/maitre d'h/waiter was a charecter from an Aki Kaurismäki film. Altogether and interesting experience, and the food was quite good.
