“Magnificent Accommodation in Marvellous Mantova”

Staying in the Frescoes Suite provides so much more than accommodation. It is an immersive experience in history. We loved the juxtaposition of living amongst the historic art in a room that was furnished with contemporary designer pieces. So Italian! The kitchenette and bathroom are modern and we appreciated the dishwasher and finding fresh milk in the fridge and breakfast snacks in the pantry. Another lovely touch were the fresh flowers from the owners garden. Pierangela was a perfect host who kindly picked us up from the train station and kept in touch with us throughout our stay. She introduced us to the apartment and pointed out places of interest to visit and dine while in the beautiful town of Mantova. If you are visiting Mantova from Down Under, we can highly recommend having a coffee at “Ortika Coffee and Food”. They offer flat whites and they are perfectly made.

A beautiful apartment set in a palazzo that has been modernized. The art collection was great to see and the owner showed us his wider collection and apartment and garden. The personal connection with him and the manger made our stay enjoyable . We loved it

It’s a breathtakingly-looking and very comfortable apartment for two. Loved the equilibrium between the marvellously frescoed walls and the design furniture of the room, as well as a very nice modern kitchen and bathroom. Loved every minute of our stay, and thanks to the disposition and quietness of the apartment, one can rest really well overnight. Huge thanks for the amazing hospitality!

“Enchanting Stay at Palazzo Beccagutti Cavriani: A Magical Experience in Mantova”

Write a review for our stay in beautiful and medieval Mantova at the Palazzo Beccagutti Cavriani which leaves you jaw dropping. We booked both apartments which were very different though both had their own charm. The one makes you feel like you’re living in the art gallery what actually really is and the other brings you back in time and astonish with amazing frescoes. Both apartments are very convenient they feature modern kitchenette shower and comfortable beds. Our host Pierangela was non the less impressive lady and provided us with very kind hospitality. Thanks a lot and highly recommend the appointment because it’s nit just a stay it’s exclusive experience.

“Beautiful gallery-like stay, steps away from the centre of Mantova”

The property is beautiful and clean. The gallery-vibe is so cool and the main courtyard is a nice touch. The property had a kitchenette with a fridge, stove top, coffee maker, sink, etc. The host who let us in was very nice and accommodating, she let us drop our luggage off early. She also let us check out later on the weekend, we had to be gone before the weekend cleaning team arrived. Parking was across the street in a parking garage and she gave us two vouchers that gave us a discount on parking when we paid for the parking meter,

I've been to all sorts of outstanding accomodations all over the world - but this one is really unique! Pierangela is an excellent host: very knowledgeable, very caring and very stylish! Floor heating is very convenient during the colder months

“Palazzo Beccagutti is Breathtaking”

Everything! The apartment is beyond stunning -- the main room is covered in 15th century frescoes -- and overlooks the courtyard and art gallery, so it is completely quiet at night. The host is friendly and kind and his property manager, Pierangela, was lovely -- she even collected me from the train station! The flat is well-equipped, with a dishwasher and amenities, e.g., hair dryer, coffee maker, coffee, tea and biscuits (a nice touch). I only wish I could have stayed longer! Mantova is a very pretty place that deserves more attention. People are friendly, the vibe is easygoing, and there is plenty to see. The Palazzo Ducale is magnificent -- and I say this as someone who has seen a fair few palaces. But don't miss the lesser-known Palazzo Te, with themed rooms inspired by classical mythology. The Chamber of Giants is one of the most mind-blowing paintings I've ever seen -- it wraps around the entire room and ceiling. Do not miss it!

I stayed in the frescoes room, which was a delight at any time of day. Furnished with Italian modern classics and with a contemporary bathroom and kitchenette to impeccable standards. this was no ordinary apartment. Pity Mantua itself did not live up to these standards.
