Thank you Jessica and Binsen for being so kind! We had a wonderful time. The room is big and comfortable. They offer also lunch and dinner, which was delicious. Very big portions. At the time we were there, there was only 1 other restaurant open on the island, so this was a great option. They also have a drinking water refill tank.

“A Night on Saona Island – Worth Experiencing”

Spending a night on Saona Island is definitely worth it. We stayed in a beachfront room with a beautiful view, which was lovely. Breakfast was inexpensive at $5 per person and matched the quality expected for that price. We explored the local restaurant Flamingos for dinner, which was excellent, and next time we might even skip the included breakfast in favor of it. The island itself is stunning, and renting a bike or scooter to visit the two beautiful, less crowded beaches is highly recommended. Transportation to and from the island always works out, so you can be sure you’ll get there and back.

Spending the night in Saona is an experience..you are in a small island in the middle of the Caribbeans and it is so beautiful and peaceful. The room was comfortable and we could sleep with the sound of the waves. Also food very nice and very good portions.

“Another Day In Paradise”

Unforgettable experience to spend a night in Saona and Sara's place was perfect for that. We were a group of 6 friends and loved the relaxed, laid-back vibe of the Casa Rural. The guys working in the house were very friendly and accommodating, and even bumped one of our rooms with an upgrade to the beachfront room which was super! It's 100% the best and most authentic way to visit Saona, far from the touristic spots and boats. Highly recommended to book the boat tour with Sara to visit the beaches of the island and the piscina natural as this way she helps with the full organization of the two days.

The place for the village in a little fisher village Man Juan in Saona island was good , dont accept higheat service ( like rooms , hot water and so on... ) we are in little island.... the town felt like back in a time... wich is so nice to experience ! No internet no hot water everything is just so simple.. . As we was in Mosquitos/Flies season the staff who works there could be a bit checking out maybe to swap the floors , change bins and so on...But as I said remember we kind in a middle of nowhere ! We stayed 2 nights was plenty enough ! Locals was very Nice and friendly ! The host Sara she was amazing and giving 10 stars service ( organising boat early in a morning and not ripping off what may locals would do, very responsive ) there is good amount of stray dogs in Island but they are so friendly and so nice..... we felt like we were guests of them :))) they were leading us and at some points protecting :)) anyway nice place to experience once in a lifetime

“Brilliant island stay with family”

Exceeded my expectations for an island stay. Communication regarding cost and boat transfered clear and transparent via Whatsapp, early check in was made possible in our case, modern air conditioning and cosy family room with reasonable storage space and functional shower and solid plumbing. Very homey feeling lady in charge welcoming and helpful. Food was delicious prepared by an experienced chef and served by the beach at a time that was agreed in advance. The property is in easy walking distance to the pier with two beautiful beaches accessible in foot or my rental bike or boat or motor taxi within 30-70 minutes depending on model of transportation. Keep in mind this is an island, food options will be limited,toilet paper goes in the bin, things will get sandy, there a more (friendly) stray dogs everywhere. We were lucky for our stay with plenty of breeze but reportedly there can be lots of mosquitoes at night time so come prepared.

The room was really clean and the location of the place is perfect directly on the beach! Also the family that works in the accommodation and cleans the rooms were super friendly and trustworthy. I hope that they get paid good for the work they do there - i felt like all the guests felt super welcomed because of them. :) I would definitely recommend booking your meals through Sara. We had breakfast and lunch and it really was worth it. They served vegetarian dominican food for us and the cooks did a beautiful job there!

A beautiful place right on the beach, hammocks and a romantic breakfast between palm trees. Comfortable beds, there is everything you need on the island, water in the dispenser, available and helpful crew, fans cool enough.

“Stay in the nature, amazing view!”

Location is good (any place will be good because they are all beachfront) The guy (Chiquito) who welcomed us, was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite big. Amazing food, cooked by Haitian guy. The food was a surprise considering the facilities they have are very basic and the island is super savage. We stayed at the seafront room, you fall asleep and woke up with the sound of the waves. We loved the experience, 2 or 3 days there are enough though.
