Choosing this place was a great luck. The town is beautiful and quiet. There are no crowds of tourists and it is close to all the sights around the lake. The apartment is stylish, very cozy and Franco is a wonderful host. We will be happy to visit him again. We already miss L'AIRONE.

The location is great. I can see the lake from the apartment and it’s literally just around the corner. The space is great too! We visited in October and the heater was on in the evening and it was super cozy! The apartment is clean and cute decorated! The shower is great as well! All supplies were well stored in the apartment. The pillow is comfy.

Location was perfect to explore Lake Como - right next to the ferry port and seconds away from cafes and bakeries. The apartment was beautiful and furnished to a high standard. Kitchen was well equipped and the property was spotlessly clean. Franco, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful- giving us recommendations for the local area and being flexible with check in/out times. 10/10 stay - would definitely come back again :)

Despite the peaceful surroundings, larger, bustling cities were just a short drive away, offering the best of both worlds. The people and our host were friendly, giving us a local feeling from the moment we arrived. The town also had a delightful selection of restaurants and cozy cafés for breakfast, each with fantastic food and a warm atmosphere. 🥐🍽️ If you're looking for a serene retreat with access to lively nearby cities, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!

“Exceptional”

This is an exceptional property. Managed by Franco he could not be more than helpful. The property is in a prime location and overlooks the lake. Excellent gelato, and bakeries are very close. Great facilities in the apartment and well laid out.. will definitely come back. If you are a motorcycle fan.. the Moto Guzzi factory is nearby. Well done Franco and great and comfortable place.

A lovely flat in location of the dream! Comfortable beds, quiet street, parking place, restaurants, bakery and park in a couple of meters. Wonderful host and wonderful people in the city! We felt absolutely happy there and loved every our day in Mondello even it was raining! We left today and already miss it. Hope to return back one day. Thanks for your hospitality!!!

Great location, a stones throw away from the boat harbour. Great view of the main square. Air conditioning worked brilliant in the height of summer.

“Perfecto!”

The location is great, right in the centre of Mandello. Only 2 minutes walk to the ferry pier and around 5 mins to Lido. Here you can take 1 hour pleasant ferry ride to Bellagio or 10 mins train to Varenna. It’s a good town to enjoy quite lake life and friendly neighbourhood. The Casa itself is very clean, well decorated and comfy. The host Franco is very nice to pick us up from the train station. We definitely recommend this and stay again!

“A real gem in a beautiful location.”

The apartment is great! It looks quite newly renovated, has A/C, big shower, very well equipped. The location is perfect - ferry right at the doorstep, few restaurants and a bakery just around the corner and train station less than 8 minutes away by foot. We felt in love with Mandello del Lario and the place! Owner was really nice and met us at the train station.

Everything was perfect! Big attention to all the details! Very equipped kitchen! Exceptional property position! Italian atmosphere given by all friendly neighbors! Cheap restaurants nearby! Numerous beaches nearby (requires special slippers for stones)!

Very good location, near to the train station and ferries, calm and friendly neighborhood. Very nice people, helpful staff, safe town. The apartman was clean and pretty.

This is a beautiful apartment, immaculately clean and with great facilities. Very comfortable, lovely views. It is 2 floors up, but the stairs are easily negotiable.
