“Fantastic host and apartment!”

Very clean and nice apartment with a beautiful view on the mountains/lake. The host is fantastic, very kind, responsive and helpful. Upon arrival the the kitchen was filled with coffee, drinks and breakfast which is really great. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

We had an absolutely joyful stay...it was perfect! The room was well equipped and convenient. We had a great view of the lake from our room and above all - Silvia, the host, was so kind and generous. We definitely recommend Lake and Guzzi View and look forward to our next stay there.

“Fantastic place, highly recommended”

Silvia was lovely, very helpful and friendly and always available if you needed guidance on the area. Her place was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of space. The views from the balcony were stunning. Mandello di Lario is a great location, very peaceful away from all the hustle but with great transport links with the train station close by and boats to Bellagio and Varena. Good restaurants too. I’d much prefer to stay here than any of the busy tourist towns

“Spectacular view, beautiful host, amazing stay”

There was plenty of space for us as a couple. The view of the lake was phenomenal to wake up to and sleep to each day. The amenities were really useful for some home cooking on a couple of the days.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment in Lake Como. The space was very well equipped with everything we needed — including air conditioning, a kitchenette, washing machines, and private parking, which made it incredibly convenient. Our host Silvia was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing us with great local travel tips that really enhanced our experience around the lake. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking lake view from the property — a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.

Our host, Sylvia was super attentive and helpful - she even picked us up from the edge of town when we missed our bus stop. The accomodation is a simply decorated,self-contained apartment with one bedroom (large comfortable bed) one bathroom (no bath, good shower), and one living room that includes kitchen (supplied for cooking for 2) dining table and sofa. There is a terrace outside, with lovely views of the lake, where we enjoyed a couple of meals in the evening. There is a parking space, and ideally guests would have a car. For once, we had decided to do without. The apartment is located on the hillside above Mandello del Lario, and above the Moto Guzzi factory. Walking to the supermarket, or into the historic centre, or to the ferry terminal or bus stop involves a very steep path. It's only a 10 minute walk, but it feels like a long haul, especially on a hot day and/or with groceries. . We wouldn't have wanted to do it with luggage, so if you come without a car, do take Sylvia up on her offer to pick you up and drop you off. That said, public transport was brilliant around this section of the lake. Trenord replacement buses were frequent and ferries a lovely way to travel.

This town is one of the hidden gems of Lake Como province. The property is really well maintained, fully equipped, close to the town center, railway station, clean with amazing views. The host Silvia is one of a kind. She is very helpful, warm, welcoming, and caring. She helped us organise our trip with loads of local food and travel suggestions.

“Warm hospitality, stunning views, every comfort and convenience”

In this time of "contactless" checkin and working it all out yourself we have never experienced better hospitality than that provided by Silvia our host. Her attention to detail including welcoming treats and continuous efforts made our stay delightful amd memorable. We had everything we could possible need including an outdoor cloths line to dry our cloths. We.also had genuinely stunning water views. Silvia has an extensive local network and helped us with exceĺlent activity and restaurant suggesstions and went above and beyond to help me retrieve my lost bag.

We travel a lot and that was one of the best accommodations we ever stayed in. First and foremost there was our host Silvia which did everything you would expect and then some more in order to make our stay pleasent. We cane for the Moto Guzzi annual event and Sylvia was so forthcoming and helpfull with all the information we needed, her familiarty with Mandello and her connections were invaluable. The room itself was so clean and well organized, the view fron the balcony is excellent(especially so if you're a Guzzi fan), the surrounding area us very quiet too.

The stay was fantastic - brilliant facilities like a home from home. Our host was very thoughtful, meeting us at check-in and talking us through everything the property had to offer. She also shared local recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our break, even lending us spare power adapters. The lakeside, public transport and amenities were a manageable walk/short drive.

We had a wonderfull stay at the accomodation. It is spacious, fully equipped, private parking, and a balcony with a great view over the lake and the village. It is located on a hill and within a 10-15 minute walk you can reach Mandello del Lario with shops and restaurants. Another advantage is the train station with a direct connection to Milan. The house is clean and tidy. The host, Silvia, was most most helpful and welcoming. She provides you with lots of recommendations where to go and where to eat. Thank you Silvia! We highly recommend to stay at this beautiful house at the Como Lake.

The location of property was utterly fabulous! It has the most spectacular views over Lake Como, Mandello del Lario & the Moto Guzzi factory (which was the purpose of our visit) The property is very comfortable with all you could need and more, including great covered parking for our motorcycle. The host was fantastic both before & during our stay with extremely helpful recommendations & information, above and beyond what you might expect. We cannot recommend this place highly enough to anyone looking for a self catering location - you wont be disappointed!

Great location, easy to walk to the center of town and other attractions. Fantastic host who was responsive, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Facilities are top notch and the place is well equipped and comfortable. We also loved that there is a family connection with the Moto Guzzi factory. For anyone not interested in Moto Guzzi Mandello is still a great place to base yourself for a visit to Lake Como. Quieter and less flashy than some of the other towns.

“Lovely stay for a couple!”

Sylvia was very welcoming and had lots of recommendations. Great view from the balcony. The house was well furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen (including an Italian espresso maker). 10-min walk to the shops, the Moto Guzzi Museum, and the train station, 15 mins on foot to get to the ferry. You can also go for a hike in the hills behind the house, and the town of Mandello del Lario is really nice, with lots of restaurants and cafes. Overall, a great jump-off point for sightseeing as well as a calm, quiet place to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Silvia met us at the train adn drove us to the accomodation. She explained everything left the basics for us adn sent us many recommendation oof places to visit, eat etc. We took her advis=ce and followed these leads for many interesting places, and delicious places to eat and visit.

“Amazing”

Amazing views on the lake, and a beautiful garden with olive trees, grapes and blossoming flowers right in front of the patio. Sylvia was most helpful and welcoming, and has given us a tour of the place and plenty of advice on shops, restaurants and attractions. She even phoned up a wine bar upon our arrival to ask if they're open so we could go there - we arrived very late on a public holiday!

It was our first time in Lake Como and we can't wait to come back. Thank you so much to our host Silvia, she made our holiday extra special and she couldn't be more helpful. She recommended us so many nice places to visit and eat. We highly recommend her beautiful house, which has been decorated and furnished with lots of love, The views are simply stunning, what a great way to wake up in the morning and have an espresso on the terrace. Excellently clean apartment, very suitable for a couple. Good equipment (e.g., washing machine, free wifi). An own parking space if needed. The routes for sports enthusiasts start right at the gate of the house. Peaceful and safe location, extraordinarily beautiful view from the terrace. The best thing about this place is the incredibly kind and helpful hostess, Silvia, and her parents. The reception was friendly and information was provided carefully about even the smallest details. Silvia gave a lot of information about the possibilities of the area and how to get around by public transport.
