“Vintage house”
Old, charming home away from home, for those who are fascinated by historic and not shiny, glittery places. Conveniently located, few minutes walk from the train station and supermarkets. Fully equipped kitchen for those who enjoy cooking.

“Would recommend :)”
The host was super nice. It was raining when we arrived and he picked us up by car on the train station - less than a 5 minute ride but saved us from being soaking wet. He suggested us different places to go to and different hikes to do for both if we wanted to climb a mountain or go to the river, as well as supermarkets nearby. We cooked the first night and the room was well equipped to cook an easy meal. You could also see a bit of the lake from the room, apart from having a nice view of the mountains. We had a nice breakfast that we cooked in the tarrace, which was quite nice for the morning sun. The room was also very clean. The only thing about comfort is that the bad is a sofa that opens up, but that is quite obvious from the pictures since before you book, so we didnt have an issue with it! There is also a washing machine etc in the room in case you want to do laundry. The location is also nice, very close to the station and you can easily get a train to Varenna which was a cute turisty town and from where you could also get farriers. Would recommend this property :)

Incredible location - you are within 200m of everything you could want... ferry, train station, grocery store, restaurant, beach. The host Ricardo was extremely helpful, room was beautiful, as was the balcony with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. Kitchen was decent (gas stove!)

Perfect location - train station few minutes away (can see the train from window, however it was not possible to hear any noise from the trains), multiple pizzerias, cafes and decent grocery stores in 500m radius. Building is located almost in the center of the village, but it's quiet and there is a beautiful view from windows/terrace. Lots of great trails only approx 2km from the apartment, so if you travel for hiking it's a very good place to stay. We traveled during winter off season, but I assume that during the summer some swimming options might be there as well, as the Como lake was pretty close as well.

“Great place would use again ideal for motorcyclists”
The owner phoned me and met up so it was easy to find . They are a motorcycle family . Showed me in . All was good with a great view . Locked parking for your bike . Supermarket down the road . Fall out of bed and you are at the Guzzi museum . Great place to stop if you are heading north home to the UK Owner was a top bloke
