The place is beautiful, right at the beach where you ca see the sunset and bioluminescence at night! They have hammocks to chill at the beach and a dive center right there.

Being right on the beach was the perfect was to start the day. I loved the energy of the people here, the crowd was a lot older than the hostel norm and that brought a nice feel.

The other tourist spots are near. The service was excellent

Beautiful location on the beach. Good for swimming and sunset. Nice traditional style bungalows in between trees. Large open lounge area to hang out. The food they offer is tasty and home cooked with Philippino specialties from Camiguin and European dishes. The hosts are very accomodating and very helpful on giving advice for all kinds of activities (snorkeling, hiking, diving, sightseeing in general). It’s a very friendly atmosphere there. Nice to also just hang out and chat to the hosts and fellow traveler. Scooter rental is available. There is a dive shop included in the resort. The aircon room, newly renovated, with sea view was a real gem. Salamat

I really enjoyed my stay at Playa del fuego! The staff is nice, the location in the middle of the forest but also near the beach is nice but don’t expect an awesome beach. It’s simple but still really nice here! Although it doesn’t seem so it’s really social because the guys running this place are trying for everyone to feel welcomed and social!

“A corner of paradise”

For my first visit in the beautiful island of camiguin , I decided to book in playa del fuego and it was an excellent choice . The property is located like 10 min from the pier in a very luxuriant jungle area but also right at the front beach witch is giving a wonderful view . The room was huge , clean and very quite . Water pressure was great and also have a water heater for those who like it . The rate a very reasonable and it include a simple breakfast . On the top of the restaurant area , there is a nice chilling area with hammock, perfect for a lazy afternoon . If you prefer , they also offer a la carte menu with a nice selection of comfort food and they have also special dish time to time . The place is managed by 2 Belgian brothers Boris and Axel so special mention for the Belgian beers selection available at the bar. If you re a diver don t miss also to experience their brand new dive center managed by Loïc who will be happy to show you the beautiful marine life . Overall experience was great and match my expectations, the place is full of good vibe so I decided to extend my stay for couple more days .

Shared room with 4 beds with fans. Simple but okey with lockers. Really cool common area to chill and hang out. Right next to the beach. There is bar with drinks. Good wifi for working.

This place is definitely not worth the asking price. For over 2 000 I expected something different. Also the road to get there is bad, better leave car on the main road. It´s not bad, but definitely not worth so much.
