Set in a restored military hospital, this Malmköping hotel is 25 minutes’ drive from Eskilstuna. It offers free Wi-Fi, an elegant restaurant on site, along with free sauna access. Individually furnished rooms with a flat-screen TV are featured at Hotell Plevnagården, as well as a private bathroom with either a bath or shower. Guest rooms are located in the main building and 4 annexes. Local specialities are served at Plevnagården’s restaurant and bar. Other on-site facilities include a billiards room, a spa with bookable massage treatments and a outdoor jacuzzi. The jacuzzi can be booked for 1 hour time slot. The sandy Hosjön Beach is 5 minutes’ walk away, while horseback riding opportunities are available 4 km from the hotel. Guests can also downhill ski at Malmabacken, just 100 metres away.

“Amazing hotel with a great atmosphere”
I don't remember when I was in such amazing hotel for the last time. This place has a soul! It feels extremely authentic to year 1886 when it was built. I spent bunch of time there thinking about travelers who stayed there back in the 19th century, how their evening used to look like, where used to be stables and so on. I recommend it to absolutely anybody who loves staying at historical places.

“Enjoyable”
Breakfast was simple and nice. This is not a 5 star hotel. But it did have a rustic charm which was refreshing.

“Suzanne is very friendly and welcoming, I felt at home.”
I asked for vegan options for breakfast and they prepared many different options for me, which was very thoughtful and accommodating. Even though I am a grumpy morning person I did really enjoy my breakfast and Suzannes happy energy. I extended my stay and looking forward to returning maybe in the summer.

“A lovely place to stay for a night.”
Great breakfast! Loved the waffles! The surroundings were nice with a a garden and nature areas near by. It was nice to be able to walk to the small town of Malmköping.
