Fantastic place, so many different areas to chill and relax. Set back from the beach so no hassle from beach sellers. Really open and nice breeze to keep you cool. All the staff were brilliant.

If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to unwind and relax, this is the hotel to visit. It is a relaxing and peaceful hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The Hotel Staff were easy to work with and very understanding.

i liked everything, i had really a wonderful vacation. everything was great! big thanks to Mary, Dismas, the manager and the rest of the staff for helping me to have an amazing time in this very nice hotel.

I had mixed feelings when I arrived late afternoon at. It felt abandoned with only one receptionist, and it was eerily quiet, like a scene from the movie "The Others." However, the next day I woke up to a wonderful breakfast, which, while the same menu every day, was fine for a short stay. The beach is serene and calm, making it a great place for relaxation with friends or family, though it may not be very child-friendly. The sound of the ocean and the overall peaceful atmosphere made me feel incredibly relaxed and well. The rooms are air-conditioned, though the weather was not hot, and they are spacious with huge bathrooms, reflecting an old-world coastal architecture. Everything was super clean, with starched bed sheets and squeaky clean bathrooms, cleaned daily. The staff were great, especially Nuru at reception and Lawrence, the waiter, who picked up on our preferences and catered to us attentively. The lunch and dinner options were not great, so we dined at other hotels and restaurants for a change of scenery but enjoyed returning to something familiar at night. If you are a lone traveler, this might not be the place for you, but if you seek zen, me-time, or couple time, then this is the perfect spot. If you are looking to swim—- the ocean has a lot of sea weeds so might not be ideal. I enjoyed daily walks and there are spots where the water is cleaner and you can take a dip. Overall —- You need to give this place a chance!! I recommend having some music to attract more people and create a lively atmosphere a few nights a week. Working on better options for lunch and dinner would also be a significant improvement. Overall, I think this would be a great place to host an office retreat or even a wedding. The place is out of town so you’d need to a tuktuk or cab, the hotel provides trusted numbers 0790 604 591 - sami who took us everywhere and came back to us.
