Really loved this place – it’s very close to the sea, the beach isn’t crowded and there are sunbeds available. The sea was wonderful! The hotel is located a bit farther from the city center, which was a plus for us, as there were far fewer people and it was a perfect place to relax! I recommend coming by car so you can get around the city easily – there is parking available. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, and the room was perfectly clean, with daily cleaning service. There was also a lovely dog there – very friendly and sweet!

“Beautiful apartment with sea view”

This accommodation is great. The apartment is beautiful, cozy, fully equipped and with a sea view. The apartment's location is great, right in front of it is a beach where you can swim. It is smaller but calm and without waves. Right next to it (about 100m) you will find another slightly bigger beach. The hosts are very nice and helpful. They showed me everything upon arrival, they left fruit, water and raki (greek alcohol) in the fridge to welcome you. They also borrow you beach towels and an umbrella (for free !). It's a wonderful place. I definitely recommend it :)

“Wonderful stay with wonderful hosts”

Everything was perfect. Really lovely owners who look after you more than well and always have an open ear! The location is perfect, away from the party so you have peace and quiet. Directly by the sea! 2 very cute guard dogs which always makes you feel safe (although not necessary). The apartment was completely renovated and you feel very much at home here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful stay! ❤️🙏🏽

“Best place on the way east”

The small and quiet harbour in Malia is a perfect location if you want a chilled place to stay. The appartements are clean, modern furnished and comfortable with enough space for suitcases. Additional there was water, fruit and Raki for us. The host-Family gave us a warm welcome and even invited us to join them for a small get to gether for a late Dinner which we unfortunately could not accept because we had already eaten. In retrospective we should have had ať least some drinks 🙂. Next time.. Two lovely watchdogs werde around and some nice greec cats, we always love.

The hotel is right near the beach with great view on the port. The hostess was very nice and willing to help in any matter. The rooms were cleaned daily and there were always clean towels. The room was very comfortable and had everything you need.

We did enjoy a wonderful stay at the Sea View Apts & Suites. It is located directly at the port of Malia, which makes a nice spot for swimming and sunbathing. If you walk about 150m to the right there is another lovely sandy beach that is a bit secluded and is a good spot for snorkeling around the rocky outcrops and cliffs. The room was very spacious, clean and lovely decorated. It is a perfect stay if you are looking for a nice, quiet and relaxing time near the beach. Many thanks to Manos and Popi, the owner and hosts. They are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. It is stongly advised to get personal transportation, be it a car or scooter. As mentionned, the hotel is a bit secluded and in a calm area. The car/scooter will get you to Malia in 3min.

Best host in Crete. Apartment was very clean and location is perfect. 1km to city center and you cannot hear any sounds from Bar street to apartments. Beaches are quite near and everything works!

“Overall, an excellent value for the money.”

The port was much better than expected, actually an almost unused port with very few boats and very quiet. In the first couple of days there were big waves on the proximity beaches, so we stayed in the port, where there were no waves at all. Popi was an excellent host, helping us with anything needed, waiting us for pickup at the arrival bus station from the airport, offering us what the other hosts mentioned: olive oil, raki, welcome beer and I would add as an extra some fresh eggs from a farm. The apartment was big enough for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) and one of the bedrooms had a big window opening to the sea. The markets ar very close and the best beach of all that we visited during our 8 days trip in Crete was a very close one, Potamia Beach, a 15 minutes walk. Also, the best restaurant we ate at was the restaurant of the port, which is 100 meters from this accommodation.

It's a perfect little apartment. Quiet location, near by very good restaurant. Very clean apartment, everything is put tough together with sytle. The host Popi provides the best service! We get a lot more than we thought. Bonus point is: you can enjoy the sea view of Malia port and evening sunsets from the beautiful terrace.

the kind welcome, the many gifts (olive oil, fruits, mineral water, wine, and an extra small package upon departure), the frequent cleaning and towel change, plus clean bed linen at halftime. Not even a hotel with many stars offers this much. The dogs were our guests on the terrace every day, even during the morning run. if you want peace and quiet, definitely book here! we will definitely be back! thank you for everything!
