Overview
Located on the hillside at the top end of the village of Malia, the Notos Hotel offers guests clean and comfortable accommodation in a quieter location. Notos Hotel is within walking distance of Crete’s most popular and liveliest resort. Offering 44 rooms and apartments, guests can enjoy spacious accommodation and a range of modern facilities at Notos Hotel. The hotel has a large swimming pool with sun terrace, a pool-side restaurant and a snack bar. Younger guests will appreciate the hotel’s playground. The old village of Malia is just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel and is bustling with tavernas, restaurants, shops and bars. Malia Beach is a 20-30 minute walk away and the vibrant Malia Bar Road with its clubs, bars and restaurants is a 15 minute walk away. Please be advised that this hotel is not recommended for guests with walking difficulties due to the position of the hotel on the hillside and the steps around the property.

Lovely staff, it was easy to find and get there from the main road, there were always parking spaces for the hotel at least when I was there mid may. They had a pool and pool bar and an amazing attentive bar man. Breakfast was good. . The shower was clean and big.

“Absolutely worth your money, and we will be back”
We absolutely loved our stay here. Andreas one of the waiters became a highlight of our family and he and Lazarkus were wonderful. There was 16 of us who came from New Zealand for a family Trip and we really didn’t know what we were booking. We arrived and were instantly amazed at the view and the happy service in the bar. The redfish food was amazing as well as the frozen daiquiris - amazing! To get to any shops or supermarkets is within 2 minutes walk and this was great as we had kids. The location is actually amazing, extremely underaged in the reviews. I don’t know what others complain about. The pool is huge and the best one I saw across our walks. We hired quads for a few days and that made exploring easier. We had a range of rooms across the family, mostly in the building next to the pool. We had a fridge and space in the room as well as serviced rooms everyday. Pool towels were available daily at the pool bar. We were so happy we booked this place.

Double bed is actually 2 single beds joined with a sheet. Food was expensive and with a strange taste. Room looks cheap.

The hotel is in a beautiful spot, perfect location! Great view! We stayed at the bungalow room, as a family of 4, it was great, a lot of space for everyone and everything looked new and very clean. If you’re looking to be in Malia, this is perfect spot, you can enjoy the city, but sleep in quite away from the noise.

“Excellent service and nice place to stay”
Everything is well organized and love the rooms and pool. All the details like pool towels, sunscreen and delicious food from the poolbar. We loved the warm hospitality of Martha and all the people from the bar was excellent. Room was well cleaned every day. I recommande this hotel for families but also for friend groups. Chersonissos is only 8 minutes away by car and Potamos beach only 10 minutes away.

“very nice quite hotel”
staff is extremely nice. the bartender speaks a little dutch as well! breakfast is simple, but fresh. cocktails are good and its a nice quite place, since its a bit away from the city centre. its easy to get to the hotel by car. there is a Pooltable and plenty of beds to sit around the pool. oh and a big plus: the hotel cats are really really sweet and like to play and cuddle🥰🥰

Swimming pool area was beautiful and the view from it too! We loved the breakfast and location was perfect for trips and walks. Personel very nice and happy :) It was truly great experience!

Absolutely loved our stay at Notos Heights! All the staff were amazing throughout our stay, Sofia was super helpful whenever we needed anything, all the bar staff were friendly and nothing was too much (especially our personally designed cocktails by Costos). Room was a good size and very clean with daily visits for clean towels etc. Location was good, a quiet location with great views, about a 5 min walk to the Old Town which has some lovely local restaurants and a further 5 mins to the Main strip. We stayed an extra 3 nights we loved it that much! Thanks Notos!
