A Alera is the best place to stay on Salina. malfa is the perfect base. Guiliana and the team do a great job from homemade treats at brekky to sparkling clean rooms with Sohel. The location is easy walk to restaurants and the beach, only a short drive to Santa Maria and Pollara for sunsets. We had a large shared terrace with stunning views also to the cliffs and mountains. Can highly recommend a stay here, it's stunning!

Beautiful view of the island and the sea with Stomboli and Panarea in the distance. Quiet, relaxing, clean, perfect location. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to the beautiful Scario beach and the quant town of Malfa

“A beautiful island stay”

The breakfast was good and beautifully served on the terrace over looking the ocean. We were upgraded to a better room which was nice as it turned out only 1 other guest was staying at the property as it was only a few days to the season closing on the island. The views were beautiful with a terrace with deck chairs outside our room. There were delicious home made goodies available all day in the reception/breakfast area

The view from the room - junior room. was breathtaking from the shared terrace ( share with 2 other rooms on the same Level) . Bit far from the little fishing port for a swim or beach( very rocky, so bring beach shoes) Hired a motorbike from rent speedy Jack, he was so helpful Breakfast was great, loads of choice with homemade cakes!

Fantastic water views with a spacious terrace to relax on. Warm welcoming staff and delicious breakfast with homemade biscuits and jam. A great location near a stunning pebbly beach. Such a beautiful place!

Its location short walk to restaurants cafes and Main Street. Bus stop nearby, great view. Great breakfast. Giuliana was very accommodating and was easily contactable.

Our host was amazing, so helpful. Every morning the home baked goods are ready for breakfast, the baked sourdough, the cakes and the best Coffee we’ve had in Italy so far.

Great location between the town and the beach. The staff were lovely and we were very comfortable in our room. There was plenty of space to sit outside but it was a bit hot for that while we were there!

After confirming the reservation, we received a detailed e-mail from the accommodation. These information were delicate services that no hotel had The accommodation has a terrace with a burst ocean view, so we can see Panarea and Stromboli. Our room is very clean as a suit room, and furniture and bedding are arranged making the most of the space. As soon as we arrived, the owner was served a self baked cake and coffee, and we received meticulous service. With her help, we were able to use a rental car to visit the nearby Pollara. We were also able to enjoy a wealth of breakfast, including homemade bread and fresh juice. I want to rate it as the best accommodation for this trip. Once again, we would like to thank Giuliana, the owner of the accommodation.

Stunning view,beautiful bedroom and great breakfast. Salina is like heaven on earth. We came from Taormina which is over populated and oppressive. Malfa was such a contrast. The restaurants are great in Malfa. I think a Alera has the best views around. The staff were super nice. I loved it all!!!
