“Excellent place along a quiet lake with pool and spa”

The hotel is in a perfect location along the lake, with great views from every room, and fantastic views from the dining room and the pool. Pool, sauna and jacuzzi are excellent. The water temperature is perfect. If you go in the morning, chances are - it will be completely empty and it will feel like a probate experience. The room is spacious and has all you need. The breakfast is great. An extensive selection and well prepared. Staff are fantastic.

“A short escape from life to calm down and relax.”

The location was great being that close to the lake, although it was really, really cold we went for a walk and then spent the rest of the day at the pool enjoying the sauna.

The breakfast was really good, we are very happy. Good products and diverse. And the people (employees) in the breakfast were very nice and kind.

“Overrated hotel”

The scenery with the lake is beautiful. The placement of the restaurant, with a slight flair of days gone by, was great. The sauna and pool were really welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing, no bacon, sausages etc.

Spent a lovely 2 days at the hotel. Brekfast is incredible, the rooms are nice, clean and really warm. The facilities are old but kept spotless

Great rich breakfast. Fabulous location by a lake. We stayed with dogs and it worked out perfect, but there are no rooms with direct access to the outdoor, just for info to dog owners.

“Nice hotel by the lake”

Nice location, just by the lake and easy access from the train station. The surrounding forest is amazing for a stroll. The hotel itself is charming, the lobby and dinning area are beautifully preserved. The staff were outstanding, super friendly and helpful. The pool area was also a good plus, specially in case the weather outside is not so good. The breakfast and dinner were very good as well.

Everything was wonderful. Amazing breakfast and dinner, and the view from the restaurant. We are staying in this hotel approximately twice a year. We love it, and we love Malente.
