Overview
Situated in scenic Makrinitsa, the 19th-century Archontiko Repana - Makrinitsa Stone Retreat features traditional rooms with free Wi-Fi overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf or Mount Pelion. The homemade breakfast is served in the rustic dining room or in the garden. Featuring wooden ceilings and floors and traditional furnishings, rooms at the Repana include a lounge area. “We had a great time and we very little effort the property could look fantastic.”
The location is superb, very easy access and very close to the village parking. We had the three rooms on the top floor, around a cosy sitting area with a fireplace that we had private use of. It was great!

“Tiny... but perfectly located room in a special location”
Room in beautiful old mansion (archontiko) perfectly situated midway between Makrinitsa main square and the main car park - only around 2 minutes walk to either. The house contains beautiful period furnishings and has a small but very pleasant garden with beautiful views over Volos and its bay and is where we enjoyed the excellent breakfasts provided by the lovely lady who was looking after the property. There was also an exceptional newly opened restaurant - Arismari - one minute away which boasted a terrace giving stupendous views over Volos and the Pagasetic Gulf, and which was hosted by a charming lady with the delicious culinary delights in the hands of another more than capable lady - all excellent value.

“Excellent choice for our short holiday in Pelion!”
The host was super nice and polite and we felt comfortable immediately. The building is a traditional residence that is very well preserved and renovated. We loved staying there and we highly recommend it!

“Perfect location”
Location location location. Perfect location just in the middle of the village where all the shops and beautiful restaurants and caffes. Beautiful house. Very nice view from the porch. Breakfast is ok.

You were right in d centre of the village square . Both Katerinas doing an excellant job. Views amazing . People so friendly. We knew it is a historic building with amazing antique furniture pieces and pictures.

Run by the nicest, most helpful and hospitable people. A different, warm, home-made breakfast every day. Excellent location, right in the middle of the village, with breathtaking views over Volos and the mountain. Highly recommend.
