We were welcomed by very friendly hosts. They showed us everything, told us about the area, and gave their personal recommendations. They even helped us park the car))) You really need to be a good driver in this town – the streets are very narrow. The sea is close – about a 15-minute walk and you're there. Since this is a mountainous area, be prepared for lots of uphill and downhill walking, except along the promenade. The promenade is beautiful, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and some very delicious ice cream in one of them. The apartment turned out to be even better than we expected. Very clean. All the dishes in the kitchen were sparkling. The hosts showed us around and even gave us a farewell gift. Highly recommended!

“A good base for exploring Makarska”

I think I met and talked with most of the owners' family. They were very nice. They had stocked water, juice and some fruit in the fridge for me. The apartment is quite spacious with a balcony. The air con and the shower were great.

The apartment is very clean. The bed is comfortable. Fruits and Juice were provided. The hosts were super nice!

“The best apartment we had in Croatia!”

The apartment is very well located (400m from the bus station, 500m from the harbour, 800m from the closest beach). Smaller shops, bakeries, coffee bars and a couple of restaurants nearby, just 200-300m down the road. The bigger shopping mall is around 1000m from the apartment. Please mind that the last 200m to the apartment is quite a steep uphill - this is not a disadvantage, it is simply how Makarska is geographically located. The flat is quite spacious, very comfortable for 2 people. Well equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, wide range of kitchen tools), you can cook even everyday if you prefer to do so. The bathroom is small but renovated - very clean and comfortable. The towels were included and we were given a fresh set after a couple of days. Big plus for two balconies. The hosts were amazingly kind, they were always ready to help. They equipped us with refreshments and fruit on our arrival and we also received a small gift from them while we were leaving.

Ana was an amazing host. She helped direct us get in and out of the driveway, gave us some fresh fruit and drinks and other little gifts that were greatly appreciated. The apartment is really nice, and very convenient location, only about 5 min walk to the town centre.

Ana was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. 2 mins walk to the old town. Fresh fruit bowl and chilled drinks on arrival. Felt very homely.

Great accommodation! It was really clean, which is very important to us. Just as important, the owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. There were some welcome fruits, beer, and water in the fridge. We also received lovely gifts when we checked out. The location is just 10 minutes walk from the beach. And the old town is even closer

“A beautiful spacious and modern apartment with lovely hosts!”

We were very pleased with the apartment, very clean, spacious and modern, yes it is up a hill but do not let that stop you from coming here, it was only a 4 minute walk from the bottom up the hill to the apartment. The host Ana was awesome, left us fresh fruit, and a choice of drinks to welcome us. Wifi was great! We had 2 balconies and could see the sea. Plenty of space to hang out wet swimwear, pegs provided. AC in the room, hair dryer comfy pillows and beds, enough plug sockets too. Honestly we would stay here again :) It was difficult to think of things we didn't like because we had such a lovely time and really liked Makarska!

Of our 9 different accomodations in Croatia this summer, Guesthouse Rose&Ana was by far the best! Extremely nice and helpful host, very spacious, modern and clean apartment with a nicely sized kitchen. Would definitely stay here again, and preferably for a longer time!

Lovely appartment, very clean; comfortable and tastefully decorated, has everything you need for a relaxing stay. comfy bed and comfy shower, fully equipped kitchen; and 2 balconies with great view. More importantly, hospitality of the family that manages the property was incredible. small thoughtfull gestures such as welcoming you with a cold drink on a hot day, among others, really warmed our hearts. thank you very much Anna and Anna's dad. you made our stay in beautiful Makarska trully exceptional.

Highly reccomend this apartament. Hosts are very nice and helpful. Apartament was perfectly clean. Kitchen iclouded everything what you need. In neighborhood you have shops, restaurants and way to Beach and marina was good. I hope I will came back 😁

“Beautiful place to rest”

Beautiful and big apartment with the wiev on sea and mountains from the balcony, we spent there a lot of time having breakfast, dinner and evening wine ;) Owners (Ana and her father) were very nice and helpful. Made a fantastic climate to rest and relax :) Apartment was well equipped and clean. To the Makarska promenade, ferry and Old Town is only about 4-5 min on foot. We could take our bikes into the room or leave it near the stairs what was a big advantage for us. I truly reccomend :)
