Everything was perfect. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and really went out of their way to ensure you had everything you needed. Personal touches like homemade cookies presented with tea and coffee in beautiful China infront of the fish pond. The quality of food was amazing all fresh and homemade using fruits and vegetables straight from the garden. The home is beautifully presented and the rooms and beds large and comfortable. A home away from home, It was truely one of the best places I have stayed and will definitely hope to visit again.

Chantal and Dominique couldn’t have been better hosts. Their home is beautiful and comfortable and we had a fantastic evening meal and breakfast. They had secure parking for our motorbikes and sent us away with coffee and cake for our onward journey! We wouldn’t hesitate to return, beautiful home and lovely people.

The Ecole des Garçons chambres d'hôtes was one of the best we have stayed in. We were warmly welcomed and shown our beautiful bedrooms, and our children enjoyed a dip in the pool. Chantal and Dominique have created beautiful rooms, and our evening meal was equally exceptional. Made with fresh ingredients, including many from the garden, dinner was simply delicious and much appreciated by all the family. The rooms are luxurious, modern and elegant and we all slept well. Breakfast was also wonderful; Chantal made us crêpes to go along with the fresh fruits, croissants, and crusty bread accompanied by a lovely choice of homemade jams, local honeys, yogurts and fresh coffee. Overall, we were very pleased to have found such a gem of a place to stay overnight. Merci Chantal et Dominique!

This is a magical place, the house and gardens with the sun deck and pool are simply divine. We only stayed one night but wish it was a week. Our hosts made us feel at home and gave us an unbelievable experience at dinner and breakfast. Thank you for our best night of a two week holiday in France.

Fabulous house and garden with warm and genial hosts. Beautiful air-conditioned room with a large, comfortable bed. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, which was welcome on a hot summer's day. The meals we were provided were outstanding. We had a fantastic dinner in the garden and a superb breakfast.

Everything! A wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated schoolhouse - we only wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and we absolutely adored the heavenly gardens and the incredibly delicious and beautifully presented breakfast. The room we stayed in had wonderful views over the garden and was immaculately clean and very stylish. We hope to visit France again next year and we will most definitely be looking to book a room at L'Ecole des Garçons - this time for more than 1 night!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Starting with the warm welcome from Chantal and Dominique, the stunning beauty of their home and their wonderful garden. They managed to turn what used to be a a plain field when they purchased the place into a piece of heaven on earth, a real haven of peace. We had signed-up for diner at the property and we were treated to an exceptional meal prepared with love by Dominique. Our room was decorated with great taste and love for detail. Breakfast was also a real treat too. Thank you so very much for having us :-)

Chantel and Dominique have created a piece of paradise at L’école des garçons. Their passion to ensure their guests experience a wonderful stay is clearly of great importance to them both. Chantel has an extraordinary taste and flair for art which shows throughout the whole building. Dominique certainly has great skill when cooking and the meals he produced were spectacular. My wife thoroughly enjoyed having a few hours preparing the evening meal with Dominique, he must have the patience of a saint! The garden, which they designed is magnificent. It is difficult to explain our pure enjoyment walking in it and exploring the great variety of plants. I think it is important to attempt to learn something new each day, on day one I learnt to ensure a chair has four legs on it before sitting down!!! Finally, Chantel and Dominique, we want to thank you for your hospitality and making us so comfortable in your company on our first visit to France…we are now converted! Robert and Susan

“French country paradise with pool”

Hands down, the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Chantal and Dominique have created a little paradise in this old boys' school. The spacious rooms are uniquely furnished in the most indulgent mix of original details and modern luxury. You can get lost in their beautiful garden and our children really enjoyed their pool. (There is a generous kitchen to use if you pass on the wonderful cuisine offered btw.) To finish our stay we had the best french breakfast possible outside of a 5 star hotel buffet: from fresh smoothie, crepes, croissants over cheese platters, breakfast spreads and jams as well as fresh omelette. The entire family agreed that we will be back! THANKS AGAIN!
