Great property - the little restaurants nearby on the beach were fantastic with awesome tree swings and a climbing frame. The stuff for kids to do were great like the trampoline and lawn games. The cafe with the room where we worked while the kids had fun was also very calm and productive.

Everything .Rooms are very spacious ,pools are lovely & warm and Huge ! ,Buffet on evening was great lots to chose from there is also another bar cafe ,Breakfast was grt ,rhe Staff were Exellent they drop & pick up yr luggage in buggy 😀rooms super clean 😀

The pool area by the beach was nice, however there were not enough beds so you’d have to be up early to get one. The rooms were designed okay but the aircon was poor and the beds were terribly uncomfortable.

Great beachfront location and rooms were fine overall. Check in staff were helpful.

“Great value & big clean rooms.”

The large pool room we had gave us direct access to a large swimming pool that was also shared with some other guests. The room offered Air-con that worked very well & was often turned off by us at night, as it got too cold. There was a mini-fridge (with freezer) for storing any purchased bottled water/drinks, snacks. Two complimentary bottles of hotel water were supplied daily as well as linen servicing if required. Pool towels were plentiful & new (marked Jan’26). The Restaurant food such as breakfast was good & offered choice, many people would either eat at the hotel in the evening (or) go next door to another restaurant which we sampled over a few nights. The Sun, Sea & Sand restaurant next door offered quality food & more choice for our tastes. People reviewing the hotel previously (that we read) saying the brand name had recently changed in 2025 from D.Varee to Estella Mai Khao which is true, the invoice still clearly stated D.Varee upon checkout tho. The guest list was friendly made up of mainly French/German & European, Overall a great stay & the value offered was superb.

If you are looking for a quiet place - it’s ideal, close to the airport, but far away form villages and quite isolated - endless empty beautiful beach
