Right after n the most beautiful beach close to a good eatery & nice hotel for cocktails

Our stay at Pieds Dans L’Eau Holiday Apartments started with a few unexpected complications, but thanks to Veronica, the manager, it turned into a very beautiful and memorable experience. When we arrived on Mahé from Praslin, our luggage had not arrived with us, so we spent the whole afternoon with only the clothes we were wearing and the small things we had with us. On top of that, we could not get the apartment we had originally booked, because after a storm the balcony glass had cracked and, for safety reasons, we had to stay in another apartment. The apartment was very nice, but unfortunately it did not have the sea view we had been looking forward to. But then there was Veronica. And honestly, she was the heart of this place. She was so genuinely sorry about the situation and immediately started looking for solutions. She offered us another apartment with the most beautiful and absolutely amazing sea view, but we had to wait until the next day because there were still guests staying there. The next day was my friend’s birthday, and I had arranged the birthday surprise with Veronica in advance. This angel prepared everything so beautifully, with so much care, kindness and attention to detail. It was perfect, touching and unforgettable. We were truly amazed. Right after that, we moved into the promised apartment and finally enjoyed the most breathtaking view — 50 shades of green and turquoise of the Indian Ocean. It was absolutely stunning. In the end, we really enjoyed our stay very much, mainly thanks to Veronica. Her kindness, warmth, professionalism and beautiful energy made a big difference. She turned a difficult beginning into a wonderful memory. Thank you, Veronica, from the bottom of our hearts. You are a real angel, and we will never forget your kindness. We would happily come back again.

Great location, shops nearby, a very good restaurant nearby and most importantly right by the ocean. Very beautiful beach, nice waves and it gets deep at the right distance. The kids had a great time swimming. You can get beach chairs from the accommodation. You can also go kayaking. Very helpful and friendly hostess.

“Pleasant for short stay”

The hotel is located on one side of a fairly busy street, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and European-style bakery. On the other side, it has direct access to the beach. The rooms are large and relatively clean. The room has a well-equipped kitchenette. The hotel offers free use of kayaks, barbecue equipment and sun chairs. The biggest advantage of the hotel is Veronica, who took great care of us and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much, you are a wonderful person! + comfortable bed + air conditioning + beautiful beach with gentle entry into the water + proximity to restaurants and shops, we especially recommend Cafe Kreol + kitchen equipment + possibility to use kayaks and sun chairs

Perfect location at the beachfront, private garden at the beach with big trees. Outdoor shower in the garden after beach visit. Shops and restaurants very near. Nice balcony with nice view. Quite spacious room.

Location is great, beach and shops, bank, restaurants right there. Big apartment, good linen and towels, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed staying on ground floor, lovely patio area outside, beach beds and kayaks available. Snorkeling spots short swim away.

Fabulous stay! The view is to die for! You can hear the waves day and night which we absolutely loved! We visited Seychelles in November 2022 for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Aldabra appartment which is on the ground floor with access directly to the beach. You can exit from the living room or from the bedroom on the wooden deck then straight on the sand, exactly how we wanted. The property has a lovely garden with palm trees and beautiful flowers, after that you are straight on the beach. The flat is huge and we loved the big windows. Air con is fitted in the bedroom. Sanath, the host, is very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Veronica, the lady in reception, is wonderful! Thanks to her, we spent a beautiful day with an amazing local guide, very knowledgeable and so friendly. The property has 2 kayaks. Life vest is also available. Position is stunning. For us, Anse Royale was the best beach in Mahe. Ask about the snorkeling spot, which is about 10 min walk from the appartment. If you want to experience creole food, ask about the local take away, which is just across the street from the property; absolutely delicious food and really affordable. You get an incredible view at sunrise! We loved this place so much! Cannot wait to come back!

“A beautiful apartment located on the beach!”

The apartment has a very nice view and is located right on the beach. It's very close to the pharmacy, the money exchange kiosk, shops, the beach bar, the bus stop, police station and restaurants. The facilities have a private parking spot. The people were very kind and hospitable, always available through WhatsApp. In the room we found a leaflet containing all the information about interesting cultural sites, activities, shops, etc.

“Great for family vacation”

Location is perfect. Right on the beach, fenced propertie so good with staying with children, direct access to beach, closed parking lot for the rental car. Apartments were big and spacious although a bit dated and most of the apartments had AC only in bedroom. Several stores, tale aways, bank, hospital, etc right nearby. All you need for cooking was also there. 2 kayaks for the use of the guests.

Nestled right by the water's edge, the apartments offer breathtaking panoramic views of the azure Indian Ocean. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves and enjoying a cup of coffee on the private terrasse overlooking the crystalline waters became a cherished daily ritual. Saul is a great host and he offered us all the insights about the neighborhood.

The host wasn't always available, but was flexible when needed and accommodating for an early check in. He was a pleasant, friendly man. The apartment was clean overall and had ample facilities. Right on Anse Royal beach, which is a very nice beach for families and good for snorkeling. Cafe Kreole is within a 1-2min walk and was the best restaurant we tried of many on Mahé (besides the Lunchbox takeaway). Such a lovely atmosphere and excellent food! That is a bonus.
