“Relaxing”

Marcellin and Lucy are very hospitable hosts. Marcellin will quickly take care of any problem, if any. Marcellin even offered us a great birthday meal. We got two sea kayaks on loan at a "friend price" from a neighbor. Everything works well, as electricity, showers, refrigerators, stoves and wifi / internet is good and fast enough. The beach is shallow and therefore also suitable for young children. When going to the beach, you have to cross a narrow road with car traffic, but the distance is only about 50 meters. Colorful fish can be found by snorkeling as you wade a little deeper. An outdoor shower is a good invention. The convenience store "Ashmitha Super Market" is sufficiently diverse and within walking distance of 200 meters, as is the nearest restaurant, the hotel "Auberge Chez Plume" 850 meters. This "Chello Villa" is one of the best in the Seychelles in terms of price / quality.

“Amazing experience with the best host and great location”

We really loved Chello's Villa. When talking about this accommodation - Chello is the best host we have ever had. And we have travelled a lot. He takes so good care of his clients and gives all the information you need. The location was also great - amazing beach across the street and many more nearby. It was very easy to drive with local bus also. There were shops nearby (walking distance) and we really loved that there were no big hotels. Its like living in a small local village. And important for us - really safe. We definitely wish to visit Chello' s Villa in the future. Amazing experience and Chello was a big part of it :)!

The accommodation was right on the main road, the beach was on the other side of the road. Easy to find and when we called the owner, he just guided us to find the right house. The owner was exceptionally helpful, yet pleasantly unassuming, We recommend!

Chello villa was our best choice. The owner helped us plan the trip, was a benevolent host, advised, helped, and cared. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and spacious. The air conditioner works well. There is everything you need in the kitchen, the garden and the beach. Chello's dinner was the best! Chello helped us buy tickets to La Digue and took us to the ferry. “Great place to stay in Mahe!”

We loved Chello's Villa. The house is cosy and comfortable, spacious and with all the necessary amenities. Chello, the host, is great, he strikes the perfect balance between being nice and helpful but also respecting your space and privacy. Loved having breakfast on that porch and listening to the sound of the sea.

Chello is a friendly host and helpful. He is available any time to help with an issue. On the first day the air conditioning did not work in the living room but Chello sorted it out by the next day. He also helped organise our car hire and we were able to agree a reasonable late checkout rate. The house was nice overall and there is a lovely beach in front of the house.

“Perfect location, stunning/comfortable home, great value and great host”

Chello’s villa is right across from the beach, which is just the most beautiful bay. There is a road between you and the beach, but it’s a perfect location and great value for money. There is a bus stop just down the road if you don’t want to get a rental or taxi. Chello’s Villa has the most beautiful sunset right on your doorstep! The Villa has everything you could need for your stay, comfortable beds, aircon, fully equipped kitchen and the wifi worked great. We had a great two night stay before flying home, we would have loved to stay longer. Chello made us feel welcome and went out of his way to arrange a rental vehicle to be dropped off at Eden Island for us. He even left a bottle of champagne for my fiancé to celebrate his birthday. Thanks you Chello for a great stay!

Chello the host is absolutely amazing! Such a nice fellow. Always checked in and assisted in any way. The Villa matches the photos very well. Its a big space, everything worked, extra plus for the Wifi and air con (compared to other places we stayed at in Seychelles). Very close to a beach.

Great stay. Nice cottage located by the beach, next to shops. Amazing host, kind, helpful Marcello. Been to many places but this was exceptional.I recommend transfers to and from the airport arranged by the host. Good price, punctual. The host prepared a local dinner, fish, chicken, salads, fruit for an affordable price - I recommend it.Marcello also offers free kayaks, which you can use to swim in the surrounding waters and beaches, beautiful views. Unforgettable sunsets.I dream to go back there

“A perfectly located tranquil villa with an amazing host!!”

Chello’s Villa was very clean, spacious & had everything we needed for our holiday. Chello is a fabulous host, he went above & beyond our expectations!! When we first arrived, our luggage was delayed until the following day, the airport got in touch with Chello & he kindly updated us regarding the delivery of our suitcases & waited for them to arrive. We were very thankful of the face cloths, soaps & shower caps that were provided in the Villa. Chello ensured our stay was very relaxing, he was available if we needed anything, he provided us with a local mobile phone to get in contact with him if we had any problems at all, and he even emptied the bins in the Villa every few days. Chello kindly took us kayaking one afternoon, and he made us a fabulous traditional Creole meal for my 40th birthday. This was our second visit to the Seychelles, we stayed in Takamaka last time, staying at Chello’s Villa was a much nicer experience & location!! As experienced users of booking.com & staying in apartments/houses, we feel that Chello’s was the best experience we’ve had, we would very highly recommend couples, friends or families staying here, the area felt very safe & wonderfully relaxing, away from the hustle & bustle of the ‘touristy areas’. We’ve already recommended Chello’s to our family & friends, and we would certainly want to stay at Chello’s again for our next Seychelles holiday.

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!! :):):) the property is just on the beach. there is the beach, road and then there is Chello's Villa. so you can literally reach the beautiful beach in 15 seconds! :):):) there are 2 kayaks, life jackets available. the villa itself is HUGE (like 200m2). we were there just in 4 people (2 adults + 2 children), but much more would fit. there are 3 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and additional toilet, big kitchen and vast living room. house is really clean and everything is there. kitchen is well equipped. spices, olive oil, tea, flour etc are available there. beds are comfortable. there is AC available. when we arrived we found coco drinks waiting for us in the fridge. the owner of the villa, Chello, is an amazing and helpful guy. we once bought big fish which we wanted to grill. since we didn't have too much experience earlier with preparing fishes, Chello actually prepared our fish , helped with the grill, prepared some special Creole sauce for the fish. it was delicious. he was always nearby ready to help. Chello, we really appreciated it. thank you :)

“Exceptional place”

Chello's Villa is much more than just a vacation Appartement. The owner makes sure you can fully focus on relaxing and enjoying. He was a professional hotelier in the past and you will recognise this immediately when you meet him. He is what makes this place truly exceptional. Whenever you need help he is there for you. Like an invisible ghost he makes sure everything is clean and tidy for you. And he makes you feel safe. But he is never intruding. Just like the true professionals. The house is huge, with a huge tub, shower and bed perfect for honeymooners. The additional bathrooms and sleeping downstairs is perfect for kids or other travelers. You have sea kayaks, beach toys and snorkeling gear. The beach on the other side of the road is mostly empty and you can enjoy the view from your terrace or balcony. It's also safe for kids since the whole garden is fenced. Lucky for us, we will be back.

perfect location. beach just in front of the villa (across the road). nice villa with good furniture , air con in each room, big kitchen , three bathrooms. nice garden and own parking place . nice terrace. owner is very honest person , always ready to help and open for any questions . Good dinner as complement from Owner Chief Cook !

“Great place for families”

Chello is a great host, he waited for us when we arrived and explained to us everything. The house is big, great place for families or group of friends. Chello built recently the fence around the property so it is very safe even with small children. Beach across the road, booth with fruit&vegetable next door, small grocery shop in walking distance. Chello also have kids beach toys and kayaks available. We really had an amazing time.
