Climatisation was good. Television was working but no on Sunday. Fridge can be used but it is rusted. Staff was kind trying to compensate the obviously need in investment.

Almost everything, I have been staying at this hotel since 2019, in past I had issue with the toilet, but they have made an effort and have improved the toilets decoration, well done.

“Really liked my stay”
Cheapest accommodation in Majunga and very convinient after coming with taxi brousse as its only 5 min by tuc tuc from station. Staff is really friendly. I can't speak French and they did everything to communicate with me and answer all my questions. Few places to eat and local market just 5 min walking. Simple breakfast was included just as booking said, you just need to ask. Hotel was quiet, AC worked great whole night, mosquito net was awesome. Queen size bed even for one person, good wifi (I work remotely so I really appreciate it). Clean bathroom, no hot water, but it's not freezing, rather totally pleasant temperature (in this weather I don't get taking hot showers anyway). Big suprise - you can pay by card and exchange rate to ariars is fair. All you can expect for this price, for backpacker like me, it's even a luxury. I felt safe and comfortable, which is very important for solo female traveler. Thank you!

Payment by credit card is only possible in ariary, and to convert the euro price quoted on booking.com to ariary, the hotel used an "imaginative" rate of exchange which was almost 6% higher than the bank rate at the time, which of course noticeably increased the euro amount we paid in the hotel's favour. If they stop doing that, the hotel is to be very much recommended.
