Overview
Villa Irene is an elegant B&B located 5 km from the shores of Lake Trasimeno. It offers air-conditioned rooms decorated in an antique style. Historical Perugia is a 15-minute drive away. All rooms have views of the Umbrian countryside. Each comes with a TV and private bathroom. Freshly baked pastries, truffle omelettes and other local specialities feature at breakfast. It is served in the lounge, which also hosts a library and free internet point. There is a barbecue area for relaxed outdoor dining. Guests at the Villa Irene B&B have free entry to the Zocco Beach Sports Centre, a 15-minute drive away. Activities there include swimming, tennis and volleyball. Assisi is a 40-minute drive away. The property is just 750 metres from the Perugia-A1 link road, for easy connections to Rome and Florence. Parking is free.

The wonderful atmosphere of an old villa with interesting interior design... The most important point is the amazing hostess, Irene. Very friendly and hospitable, sociable, ready to help with advice (parking in Perugia, local attractions, etc.). Every morning she pampered us with a special hot dish for breakfast and each time with truffle, having learned that we love it)). High recommendations!

“Very pleasant stay for our 4 day introduction to Umbria. Convenient for golfing at Antognolla.”
Lovely fresh coffee and large pot of English breakfast tea were very welcome. Fresh fruit including sweet early strawberries, pineapple and melon together with fresh bread and pastries. Truffle omelettes were available. Irene was very welcoming and helpful with directions into Perugia. A pizzeria is a short walk away and food was good although you'll need to drive for evening meals otherwise. Very convenient location for sightseeing by car.
