Excellent location (a stone's throw from the night market and downtown), a very kind gentleman checking us in, a comfortable bed and soft pillows. I am hoping to be able to return. Incredible value for money. Two thumbs up!😎

Nice clean and big room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Balcony with quiet view. Quiet place but close to everything. 7-eleven 1 minute walk, restaurants. Night market 15 minutes walk or 2 minutes on motorbike.

“Comfortable and clean guesthouse, great value for money”
Shangsin House is very clean, the staff is friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable for such an affordable stay. Very good value for money and everything you need in Mae Hong Son is reachable by walking max 15 minutes. The street itself has a bar and some restaurants which is great.

This is one of those places that don’t leave a lasting impression, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It was clean, we spent just one night and had a motorcycle so it didn’t bother us that it’s been a bit far from the center of town.

The room was a good size and was very clean. It had a nice balcony. There was hot water available all day to make tea and coffee. Although the owner doesn't speak much English he was able to get us a tuk to take us to the bus station. There is a small eatery right next door with an English speaking owner. They do great noodles.
