“Nice vibe in the garden, style of a House and lovely owner”

I really like the vibe of the place, especially garden and common place to spend time and the owners are really kind and helpful, also the style of a bungalow is nice, bed/matress futom was very comfortable, everything was clean and fresh, only one thing which I didnt like were cobwebs in windows and in corners. The tarrace also is nice and there were lovely dogs and cats of the owner (but if u don’t like animals then the owner doesnt let them go out from her house). She have me lots of reccomendations what to see.

Breakfast was delicious, the house was spacious and super cozy, had everything one might need. “A unique stay with exceptionally kind hosts.”

It's worth going to The Legend solely to meet the hosts, Nong and Pom, who are a lovely couple and exceptionally kind. They were very knowledgeable and could arrange most things if you were interested. They were also sensitive and discreet enough to give you your own space. Our detached bungalow had everything that we needed and had a great verandah that we sat out on in the mornings and evenings. The Legend only has 2 bungalows so peace and quiet are almost guaranteed. We looked forward to our breakfasts each morning which were very tasty, substantial and prepared by Pom. We came up by bus from Chiang Dao and The Legend was only a short 10 minute walk away from the bus station. As well as it's deservedly famous Wat ( arranged over 9 levels), Tha Ton and it's surroundings has a lot to offer and we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days there. We travelled from Tha Ton to Chiang Rai, our next destination, along the river Kok, an unforgettable and not to be missed experience.

“Cosy bungalows with wonderfuls hosts”

Just everything is nice about this place. The rooms are very cosy, comfortable and super clean. Both rooms have a lovely balcony to enjoy the beautiful garden. And the absolute best thing are the hosts, they are the most wonderful people we have met in Thailand. Its worth going to Tha Ton just for this homestay!

I loved my stay. Nong and her family were so friendly and helpful. They brought me snacks and fruit and amazing khao soi, invited me to go to a local tribal market, arranged a boat trip for me and gave me a lift there in the morning. Nothing was too much. The room was cute, and the homestay was such a calm and relaxing place. Everything was perfect.

“Rustic charmer”

Warmth of Nong and Pom. Genuine and informed. The property has rustic Thai charm, situated in a friendly village. The boat trip on the Mekok and a visit to the recently discovered ancient temple complex were highlights. Shower and fan are effective and bedding good quality. A pleasure.

A very local place in a small town run by a wonderful couple that we enjoyed talking to. It's a short walk to the night market, the river. The school is across the street and super fun in the morning. Over coffee you'll hear the happy "go to school" music and can watch all the school kids buy their little lunches from the vendors and the hive of fully-loaded scooters.

“Best stay ever!”

They welcomed us very kindly, gave us good travel advice and made a very good deal with the captain of the boat for the trip on the Mekong river. The breakfast was very good. The stay in the 2 cabins was awesome: really "chique boutique". Ta Ton is a very nice little town with a good restaurant across the road of the 7-11. We climbed up the hill of the Budist temple and had awesome views of the surroundings. A real treat! Superb hosts (she's ngo). One can have a clever conversation with them. We parted as friends, even when we only stayed for the night!
