The hotel’s location was excellent and very close to the city center. There is parking available behind the hotel, which is a great advantage, especially in a busy area like downtown. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the stay.

“The best hospitality we’ve ever experienced”

We had an incredible stay at this charming family-run hotel. The family who own Mount Nebo are without a doubt the best hosts we’ve ever experienced in any country- they were exceptionally kind, attentive, warm and hospitable. Their level of customer service surpassed any 5 star hotel we stayed at in Jordan. We were left feeling so touched by their generosity and kindness. The rooms were exquisitely decorated with handmade art crafted by the owner. Each room is styled after a different place in Jordan. This gives the hotel such a beautiful, intentional touch and adds to the magic of Madaba. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room was stocked with a plethora of complimentary drinks and snacks. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean and had a delightful spa- like scent. Despite us being the only guests at the time, they put on an incredibly generous breakfast spread for us. Freshly baked bread and literally anything we could possibly desire for breakfast was on offer. It was the small touches that stood out- we mentioned at dinner we liked mint tea and the next morning, mint leaves were left out for us near the tea bags. The dinner was equally exceptional and plentiful- I haven’t stopped craving the rice and salad we had. You can also sample some local Jordanian wine and craft beer. Overall, I highly recommend Mount Nebo as a base for your travels in Jordan. Don’t make the mistake that we did of coming here for the night as you will regret it. This little gem deserves to be experienced for longer.

Best hotel we had on our whole Jordan trip. Decorated with lots of love and thoughtful. Everything of high quality. Delicious huge breakfast!!! We should have planned to stay longer. It was our last night in Jordan and made our last experience in this beautiful county very memorable. Thanks for your outstanding hospitality

“The perfect finale of our Jordan trip”

Mount Nebo is a charming, family‑run place with only 11 rooms and incredibly attentive owners. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable, and the whole hotel smelled fresh and welcoming. Dinner was a true “Jordanian food adventure” with the best homemade hummus, perfectly cooked meat, refreshing salad, saffron rice, and an unforgettable dessert—huge portions for just JOD 18. Breakfast was equally delicious and plentiful.

This was our favorite hotel during our trip in Jordan, even compared with some 5 starts hotels we stayed at. The attitude of the staff is amazing. As it was cold outside during our trip, the rooms were already warm before our arrival (and this was the single hotel who took care about this!). Amazing breakfast - you must try their shakshouka! We felt care and attention every minute of our stay there - thank you!

Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. The hosts and staff were very welcoming and supportive and I'd comfortably recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in Jordan.

The location is excellent. The double room was very comfortable, including the bed. The team was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was a real highlight: very fresh, with a great selection, eggs prepared in many ways, and an exceptional shakshuka. Communication with the staff was very easy, and they contacted us after we left to let us know we had forgotten some items. Overall, the experience far exceeded what you would expect from a three-star hotel.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Madaba. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff clearly just want to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. They provide everything you need to ensure you have a great stay and the hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the mosaic. Breakfast was very good.

I found this gem on short notice due to a flight cancellation. I arrived late in the evening and was welcomed by the kindest and most hospitable people I‘ve met during my time in Jordan. “Fantastic hotel in the centre of Madaba”

This is one of our favourite, and most unique hotels we’ve ever visited, and would go back in a heartbeat. Our only regret is that we only stayed 2 nights and wished we’d had longer in both the hotel and Madaba (we really loved the city too). From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. Every member of the team was kind, friendly, professional and made the time to get to know you. The food really is a stand out, we would usually eat out on evenings but after how good the meal was on our first night, we jumped at the chance to eat here on our second night. The food is delicious, all home cooked using traditional recipes and comes in huge portions (we never got used to Jordanian portions!). Breakfast was also one of the best we’d had in Jordan, delicious, varied, and the team made every effort to introduce each dish. They were also kind enough to put together a breakfast box for us when we needed to depart for the airport early in the morning. Another stand out is the décor, this is a really beautiful hotel. The rooms, corridors and common areas are gorgeously decorated and include amazing mixed media artwork created by the owner's wife depicting famous sites around Jordan. Parking is easily available in their dedicated lot out back which is also CCTV monitored. The location of the hotel is ideal and is easy walking distance to all the main sites of Madaba. Mt Nebo is a short 15 minute drive up the road (get there early before the tour groups). Madaba itself makes for a great base to start or end your Jordan trip since the airport is also an easy 30 minute drive away. As with everywhere else we visited in Jordan, we felt safe and very well looked after, we’d absolutely return to this beautiful family run hotel.

The rooms were beautifully decorated, the bathroom clean and modern and the food was stunning. The most impressive dinner and breakfast of our holiday. One of us was feeling sick and the staff did really well to help us recover.

“Perfect place to stay in Madaba”

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay in Madaba. Great location and within walking distance of all the attractions. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. You must have dinner in the restaurant! It was so tasty and a real experience. We had a local beer too - would recommend! Afterwards we had a glass of Jordanian wine on the terrace which was lovely. The room was very spacey and we slept so well. The gym is also very well equipped! And the breakfast - wow!! So much choice and so fresh. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we wish we stayed longer!!
