“Everything that IBIS isn't”

A difficult review. Essentially, Hotel Concorde is everything an IBIS is NOT! In the town center, slightly quirky, each room appears to be uniquely decorated. Quiet, good beds, so far so good. But, the breakfast was too simple for the 14 euro price tag. On the other hand, the manager/owner/receptionist was very helpful and friendly and even made us a new flask of coffee for the trip that day. The location is great. 10 minutes walk to the old town center for dinner. Just what you need after a long day's drive and there's plenty to chose from. Spotlessly clean.

We came by bike. The owner provided a stand for the bikes, so that we could let them inside the hotel. I can recommend it for bike tourists, but let the owner know in advance

Our room was at the rear of the property facing the garden. Quiet location. Nice clean room with air conditioning. Easy storage of bikes. Breakfast was good. Hotel Location couldn't have been better, a straight walk downhill to the heart of a busy old section of Macon. Loads of restaurants, cafe, shops....

Awesome couple running the property. Went out of their way to accommodate our needs specially when I got sick, Simon, the owner called the ambulance and stayed to make sure things were done properly and did the translation , being patient with us and fully concerned. Place was clean, room was spacious, linens were clean and fresh. Location was easy walking to the quaint center of town with lots of local French restaurants.

Very friendly hotel, at about 10 minutes walk from the old town. Lovely room, quiet area. Couldn't be better.
