Well located, close to the bus ticket office. The ladies are very nice and they really help a lot. They also helped us in getting our luggage from the train station and also taking us to the centro cultura to get our machu picchu tickets.

The view out of our windows (that opened) over a creek that runs into the Urubamba river, with the town streets below, and mountains surrounding the town was absolutely stunning!!! The staff were friendly, and made us a wonderful breakfast!

The location was perfect. Five minute walk from the train station and a one minute walk from the buses to Machu Picchu. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for our family of four, and the Wifi was excellent. The breakfast was delicious, too.

“When you need a little help...”

We arrived on the Peru Rail train without Machu Picchu tickets to be whisked away by someone from the hotel, leaving our luggage with a friendly stallholder, and racing over to the MP ticket office in the nick of time to grab the last two Circuit 2 tickets. So so grateful:)

1) the hotel cancelled (with no extra fees) my non-refundable reservation for the second room which was made due to a technical error, ----- which I highly appreciated 2) we were able to check in early, like 1 p.m. 3) comfy rooms, generous size, very quiet (soundproofed) 4) tasty breakfast

Mapiland is a perfect location hotel for staying over when visiting Machu Pichu, its located in the centre of town and only 5 minutes walk from the train station, the windows are double glazed so there is zero noise from the street, the owners are super friendly and helpful
