Great island with plenty of places to eat, drink and activities. The food is great and the staff at bars, restaurants, cleaning staff and the shuttle are amazing.

“Excellent stay on beautiful friendly island - a true LUXury.”

Excellent holiday on a largeish Maldivian island. Beautiful sea colours surround the island, staff are ever so friendly, plenty of drinking and dinning options for our stay. As the island is quite large 1.8km if i remember correctly there are 12 seater golf carts that take guests to their rooms or from one spot on the island to another. The drivers are the unsung heroes asking if you need a lift and making conversation. Always a cheerful 'good morning', good evening from all staff and a lovely welcome in all drinks and dinning areas. We stayed in a lovely over-water villa at the west point of the island and had beautiful sunsets from our balcony. We had a excellent clean room and three bottles of local desalinated water every day. Food was good and fresh, restaurants and facilities were all clean. Staff and hotel clearly spend a lot of time making sure the basics are done well. Despite having 193 odd villas, which we were told were all full, the Island, sun loungers and dinning areas generally felt as though they were half full or at least available. Good eco credentials on use of local water and solar panels for electricity. Excellent Dolphin trip where many pods of dolphins were seen.

Room, view, staff, location, facilities and the food were amazing. Everyday one of the staff members, Rashwaan, doing our room managed to create a very special moment for us by creating an animal with the towels on our bed, memorable moments.

“A slice of paradise”

This was my second stay at LUX and once again it was a truly special experience. We stayed in August, with wonderful weather, in a beautiful water villa overlooking the crystal-clear sea. The resort is enchanting: the island is large and well equipped, offering many facilities such as a gym, diving center, six restaurants and several bars. The international breakfast was excellent and served in two different restaurants. During our stay we dined almost every evening at Umami, the Japanese restaurant: outstanding food thanks to Chef Jester and impeccable service by Reehaan. I highly recommend trying it.

There are just not enough words to express how much we enjoyed our stay at Lux. It was simply beyond perfect. The staff were amazing from start to finish. Special thank you to Neesham the Duty Manager who went above and beyond for us after we went through flight disruption from Dubai, resulting in a missed connection. Also to Mo, one of the kind gentleman who drove us around on the hotel buggy. My daughter looked forward to every trip around the resort with him. The resort was absolutely stunning and picture perfect. We travelled in August and I was concerned it may rain every day but the weather was beautiful. We also experienced the most special dolphin trip and the food was beautiful. We will 100% return. THANK YOU LUX!

Especially at East Market, breakfast coffee, healthy food, the kindness of the staff, and the fantastic atmosphere around were all great. Especially, the people who always greeted us with a smile made the atmosphere of Lux even happier. It was very nice. Especially, Ullala was very nice

“Exceptional resort”

The resort was beyond expectations. We were met by staff as soon as we landed in Male airport and we were looked after for the entire duration of the stay. The villa was stunning, as was the rest of the resort. The bars and restaurants were lovely and the beaches around the island were unbelievable. The gym was well equipped with cardio and strength equipment and there were plenty of classes too. This was our first visit to the Maldives and won't be our last, we would definitely come back to Lux.

Some of the staff were really warm and hospitable. Worth mentioning were Ahmad from housekeeping, Rachel from reception, Nur from Cafe Lux and Niyaz from F&B. The treasure hunt for bottles was really fun. The buffet spread was good except they could have change some of the items. Activities like cinema night was great. Resort has many instagram hot spots for great photos.
