“Lovey hotel in a great location”

What a fabulous hotel, right on the beach looking out over the beautiful turquoise water. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable (there could have been a few more coat hangers). Water was replenished daily but if you wanted more this could be asked for. Small fridge, we bought fresh milk for tea/coffee. The staff were amazing and really looked after you, nothing was too much trouble - Emi, San, Hussain, Mona, Peppi, Mr Mujey and Juel (I may have missed a couple). The trips were definitely worth going on turtle spotting (we saw dozens) and Manta ray spotting, we were lucky and swam with half a dozen (not scary, I was a bit nervous but absolutely loved it), Peppi and Hussain were very knowledgeable. Breakfast was nice (not brilliant), fresh omelet or eggs cooked to order but very little fruit (the resorts take priority and its very expensive). I would definitely visit again. Two cafes on the Island, the Rose and another, both worth a visit, we alternated this with the buffet in the hotel, again nice but samey. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach.

Location is perfect on the beach and very close to bikini beach and dive centre. The building is newly renovated and spotless.

I am very grateful for all the services provided by this hotel. I stayed there for two weeks, and they were truly the best weeks of my life. A peaceful, off-the-beaten-path island, snorkeling right from the beach, excursions, food—everything was excellent. The hotel and the rooms were kept very clean every day. Thank you very much. I’d like to send a special thank you to Ms. Emi and Mr. Sam. Their service in the dining area was excellent.

“Stay in nowhere :)”

Nice and small hotel directly on the beach. Rooms are spacious enough, with balcony, but we got ground floor so no view. Very good and tasty breakfast and dinner, everyone can choose but every day almost the same - for few days excellent. Very kind and nice stuff and great beach, beach towels provided and changed every day. The island Is very small, very local, don't expect any night life or café culture :) It's just about you and total switch off :)

The whole experience was amazing. The place has been recently renovated, and the team is continuing to make improvements to further enhance the facilities. The staff is incredibly kind and supportive, always ready to help with anything needed. If you’re looking for a relaxing break on a paradise island, this is the perfect place to go.

“The best stay ever”

This is the best place you will ever have the chance to be a guest in. The hospitality, the smiles, the beach, the reef and the million fishes living there which you will be able to see and explore, are the best combination for a perfect vacation. This is for sure the best hotel in the island, but also I can say the best place to be if you want to spend your time on a local island in Maldives. We went in a resort after here and definitely can say that this place and people made us think we prefer it than the luxurious resorts. My family and I want to thank especially Emi and Sana who has the best smiles and are the best team, they are doing their best all day long and really don't know when these people find time to sleep, as they are working non stop. Juel was cooking the best food and they are delivering everything to us so fast and every time with the biggest smile possible. Mona, Hussain-you are the best managers, we've seen. You are doing everything with such devotion and love. We will always remember how you left your souls on the dancefloor on St. Valentines day, fierce dancers. Pepiiiiii, you are the beeeeest human being. The best person to spend an excursion on a sunny day with. Thanks for the sandbank experience and the video you made with the turtle and my wife. Love you, guys, definitely will come back one day with more friends! (smiley)

Where the staff makes your dreams come true for nothing more than a smile. While I was enjoying the beautiful white beaches, the team worked tirelessly to make my holiday unforgettable and to turn every wish into reality. The hotel is located in the very best spot on the island, just a few steps away from a marvelous white beach – in fact, the staff could easily afford to be lazy because the location alone would impress any guest. Yet they are the complete opposite: always hardworking, attentive, and genuinely caring. Whether it was real Italian coffee, a fresh watermelon smoothie served directly to the beach, or fresh papaya for dessert – even when none of the local shops could provide it – they always found a way. The tuna steak came straight from the fishermen at the harbour to my table – something no other place could offer. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and complimentary water provided every day. The hot rainforest shower, very comfortable beds, quiet air conditioning and ceiling fan ensured perfect comfort. The buffet is exceptionally tasty and probably the most varied you can find on a local island. There was always pasta, rice, potatoes, fish or chicken, and sometimes delicious local fruits. The service was attentive without ever being intrusive – always thoughtful, always respectful, and always aiming to make my stay special. They continued to surprise me until the very last moment on the island, even turning the bed into a small work of art. The young and highly motivated team, led by Hussain, does an outstanding job. Special thanks to Mona, Emi, Sana, the cook, and the cleaning staff – and apologies if I haven’t mentioned everyone personally. The beach is cleaned every day, and the entire island is exceptionally well maintained. At times, you almost forget that you are on a local island – nothing is missing, and the friendliness everywhere is almost impossible to surpass. An unforgettable stay – I would return anytime.

I like the location, 1 min from the bikini beach. The hotel had sun bed and beach towels for his guests. right by reef, great for snorkling. I've seen black tip and nurse sharks, murena, turtles, and a variety of fish. Staff are always happy to help when asked. The place could be kept better, but the price is paid it was good value. Nice breakfast. Staff picked me up and dropped me from/to getty and helped with luggages.they also organized an escursion to the sandbank. In the evening you can go to the harbour yo see nurse sharks and stingray ray. There are also a couple of café and restaurants on the island. It's difficult to get a variety of fresh fruit, but it's part of the experience. Locals are nice and friendly. I kile the walk around in the island and in the jungle. I'd go back to Maalhos

“Fantastic vacay!”

Not sure where to begin when it comes to Maalhos island and our accommodation at Thundi Village. The island it self is absolutely gorgeous, loads of reefs on our beach where we used to snorkel every day. The hotel was great! Everything was super clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, there to help you with what ever you need. Overall it was one of our best vacays!

“The best time on a paradise island”

The hotel has the best location on the island - right next to the beautiful beach. Everyone is super nice & friendly, by the end of your stay, you will feel like you're just hanging out with your friends. If you want a true experience on a local island, this is the place to go. Shout out to Nazyh & Husein and to Chef Chamika for keeping our tummies full with delicious potato curry.

A beachfront hotel where you're toes meet the sand. The dinning area was airy and the views to beach was stunning. The Breakfast/lunch and dinner was amazing thanks to the great Chef Nil. He cooked a variety of options for us. Very tasty!! The hotel had special event nights for dining, BBQ Thursday and different menu options during the week for dinner. Staff Nazyh, Hussain were very accommodating and went above and beyond with assisting us. Our wonderful waiter Aman, was gracious enough to save our favorite drinks for dinner. The staff, made it feel like you were part of the family and gave you the local experience one is looking for. Also, a bonus was that they staff kept the beach clean and they encouraged visitors to do the same. The beach is stunning what you would expect from MALDIVES.

Location of resort is right next to the beachfront. The coral reef is near the shore and teeming with marine life. Beach is clean and water visibility fantastic.
