Overview

It's a very nice hotel. With alot of character. On the inside the old beauty is kept and it gives very cozy vibes. The only thing was that the wifi didn't work. We didn't ask for help because we only stayed one night so it might have been resolved easily. Tip for visiting the town. Nothing food wise was open in the evening (Do not believe Google because he said things were open but they were not). Only the Michelin restaurant was open. It's probably because we visited in mid season but we had to drive a couple of towns farder to find something. The staff was very nice though and the breakfast was really good.

“Over hyped hotel”
The hotel has a Michelin star restaurant as part of the facilities,in which, we ate one evening. A very expensive meal with equally expensive wine but that was to be expected . However, the facilities just don’t match promotional hype the place is given

A must see village in France hotel was great but arrived a day after a national holiday where everyone in the cafe etc had worked so whole village took the next day off so nothing was open couldn’t even get a beer ,would have been nice to have been told when booking

“A lovely building marred by poor service and organisation. Dinner at the hotel bistro was good.”

“Perfectly located, historic, clean and charming”
- at the centre of town and a great place to start exploration of the region. We did day trips to Chateau de Vasceuil and Rouen - Lyons-la-foret as very beautiful and the hotel blends very sympathetically with it all and uses local buildings cleverly - pleasant, friendly staff - we had two mini houses - lovely living rooms and little kitchenettes so perfect for our family, reasonably comfortable BUT not as comfortable as the hotel rooms themselves (also stayed last June) - decent breakfast
