Everything went perfectly well. The self Check-in is practical, the location is perfectly close to Part-Dieu train station & the room is clean and confortable (with kitchen equipment & a great jacuzzi). I fully recommend

“Great experience in Lyon for leisure & spa”
The apartment was as described and it’s a really cool thing to have the spa in the room! Otherwise the apartment is comfortable with a TV, small kitchen, bathroom - all good and clean. It was easy to check in and when we had a questions the host was very responsive. 10 mins walking to the train station which also made it very accessible.

The apartment had a very strong offensive odor/stale water smell to the extent that we had to sleep with the windows open. We should have notified the owners that night, but we were exhausted from extra travel due to the public worker strike and the extra travel caused by a cancellation, and we were also on foot with heavy luggage - with ski equipment. The contact person told us that they could have moved us had we notified them earlier, but the adjacent unit was occupied, and we could not have gone back out for another walk with our heavy luggage (apartment is more akin to an Airbnb, not a hotel, and there were two units total through one entrance door - not sure where else there might be other options (?)). The foul odor was ONLY in the apartment, not the surrounding area or building. Check with contact people about the odor before renting. They believe it to be a city sewage repair that is currently in progress. But again, it was only in the unit, not the building or on the street level. Otherwise - it's a really nice apartment.

The room was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. But the common area of the building ( stairs and corridor were not welcoming at all and there were a very unpleasant smell that persisted in the room even with open windows.
