“Fantastic, we want to go back now”

The location was fantastic. Close enough for short drive to get to the nearest big grocery store yet outside the hustle and bustle of heraklion. Ocean view, only small walk to small cozy beach of mades. The villa was beautifull, new and had everything we needed. The host was amazing and very helpfull with any questions we had.

The place definitely met our expectations. We were 6 people and we didn't feel crowded. I think 8 people would also feel comfortable there. A definite plus is the spacious living room with a modern kitchen. Space for a terrace and balconies with a sea view. The place was equipped with everything we needed. Air conditioning working in few places, which is important during very hot days. I definitely recommend this place for shorter and longer stays.

“Breathtaking view with all the comfort and a cute beach”

This is a great home to rent. It has a super practical arrangement, the living room, the spacious dining area, and the kitchen with a separate toilet are all on the upper floor with 3! great balconies while the 3 spacious bedrooms and the full bathroom with shower, toilet, and washing machine are below. So when we played a board game on the upper floor, we didn't disturb the ones taking some rest. The kitchen is very well-equipped, has all you might need with a massive fridge (which we really envied) and all the areas and rooms have their own air conditioning, which makes it all adjustable for each need. The host is super communicative and helpful and fantastic, he even surprised us with some welcome gifts and has been there for us for any questions we had through whatsapp, so he was super respectful to our privacy. We even met his family who arrived for a summer vacation at the apartment on the lowest floor of the building (completely separated from out 2-storey apartment) and they were so kind, we immediately felt like old-time friends. The building itself is on a hill, you can walk down and up to the local small beach, which is really cute, not overcrowded like others, has sunbeds and umbrellas for a very reasonable price (you pay 3eur per sunbed, so 6 for 2 beds and umbrella or 9 eur for 3 beds and umbrella, etc). The beach has pebbles, with crystal clear water and probably the nearby 2 small rock islands (swimming distance) are the best snorkeling spots we have seen (and believe me we snorkeled almost everywhere :-)). It is great fun and easy to reach and explore. The walk down and up is super steep, quite an exercise, but doable. We also took the car and managed to find a parking place each time, so that' the other option (3 min drive from the apartment).
