“Calm relaxing stay throughly enjoyed.”

The house was in a quiet location near to Luosto. House has everything we needed . It was a bit cold when we arrived and the upper floor heater wasn’t working but by night the heating arised from lower heaters. Linen was provided and We had to put on the pillow , bedsheet and duvet covers on. Kitchen was fully functional with some basic seasoning in the cupboards. Nearest market is in Luosto but opening hours vary so we had to go to Sodankylä (33km) the first evening to get basic grocery. Please take note that water tank has certain capacity hence for a family of 5 with by back to back showers, we ran out of hot water. Use and plan wisely especially with children. Clean Drinking water from tap. To hunt for northern lights you might have to come out of the property and walk a distance as the property is surrounded by trees. River was opposite the property short walk. One second day we seemed to have lost the key but it was attached to the magnet of the torch owner was helpful to promptly drive home to give us the spare. Morning was pleasant and we had no neighbours during our stay. We could cast on the TV so spent some time watching. No toiletries provided but we carried our own after having read few reviews. Bath and hand towels provided. Good WiFi.

We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back, next time for longer than 3 nights! The location was perfect for us, close to the nature, very quiet and peaceful. The house had all we needed (2 adults + kid), the fireplace and sauna were amazing when the temperature outside dropped below -20°C. Kota with a fire pit is cozy. Warmly recommend!

“Excellent stay in Luosto”

Excellent stay in Luost. The cottage was beautiful, pleasant, cozy where we found everything we needed. The location is very quiet, surrounded by trees, beautiful nature and we were surprised by the proximity of the cross-country tracks, which were excellent. The private sauna was great, which we needed after days spent playing sports in the snow. It was a wonderful stay, thank you!

Nice location. The owner had some issues with original cottage and offered us bigger one for free, so we stayed by his place. Very helpful owner, let us know what to see nearby.

“Peaceful location”

This lovely cabin is beautifully located in the middle of nowhere. Peaceful and quiet in the woods. It is clean and nicely furnished. Kitchen has all the equipment you might need for a few days stay. Using the outside woodfire hut, kota, is a great experience. We enjoyed roasting salmon one night, and sausages the next. The host was very kind, letting us borrow sledges for the children.

loved this cabin, so peaceful and quiet yet not too far from activities, supermarket and skiing etc. beautiful decor and warm. Tuomas very helpful from the start. we were very sad to leave. would highly recommend
