“Perfect stay to reach the seashore, Carrara old town and the Marble mines by car”
To stay at Appartamento Cà Insulae was just perfect, exactly what we needed for our travel. We travelled by car, and outside the house there's a surprisingly empty lot to park your car! The small "house" we stayed in is entirely separated from the main house, a very clean, very neat place wit comfortable bed, air conditioning, fridge, nice shower etc, all the trimmings an apartment needs. Right in front of the property there's a small bakery we'd definitely recommend to visit! From this location you can find in equal distance both the seashore in one direction and Carrara's old town in the other, I'd definitely recommend the latter for a nice and authentic Italian main square dinner !! (By authentic I mean no tourists. At all. Luckily :) ) Our main target was the Carrara Marble Tour site (wich is FYI a James Bond location from Quantum of Solace) and we could easily get there by car from this apartment. I'd highly recommend to stay at Appartamento Cà Insulae if you're in the vicinity!
