“Great value for money”
The hotel is close to the centre with free parking. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. The property is traditional but functional.

Convenient location, plenty of parking, restaurant on site. Staff were attentive and flexible with the child’s meal. Nice breakfast with local products, regularly restocked.

“Good central location but peaceful as well.”
Hotel is a large rambling affair, slightly run down in parts. However I only give good reviews where warranted. The location is first rate being so close to the town centre and the impressive chateau/palace and yet quiet and peaceful What really made it for us was the service from the manageress, she seemed to run the place single handed and yet delivered a great experience. So helpful and welcoming, deserves an accolade.

Excellent location next to the historic chateau. Evening meal on the terrace of the restaurant was very romantic. Lovely food with nice wine & beer. Plenty onsite parking. A nice breakfast, in particular the bread selection and preserves. Very pleasant helpful staff.

Very welcoming host, lovely spot in good location for my trip. Hotel itself is somewhat quirky but I enjoyed that and just few steps into town. Restaurant meal was great too.
