Overview
Providing lodging in the hills of the magnificent Mount Everest, Yeti Mountain Home Lukla is built in the traditional Khumbu wooden style and decorated with Buddhist artworks. A small library and museum, as well as massage treatments, are available. Free Wi-Fi is provided in public areas. Mountain Lodges of Nepal - Lukla is a comfortable stop-over point for trekkers exploring the mountains. It is within a 15-minute walk from Tenzing-Hillary Airport. From the airport, it is a 45-minute flight to Kathmandu Airport. The cosy rooms are cooled with natural mountain air or with a fan. Electric mats keep the beds warm, while the private bathroom has hot running water. A TV and a sofa are also included. The dining room serves local Nepalese cuisine. Dishes are prepared with organic vegetables grown in the property's own greenhouse. Drinks can be enjoyed at the bar. Laundry services and a tour desk are available on-site. Luggage can be stored at the 24-hour front desk.

“Great location, comfortable, legendary hospitality”
Legendary Nepali hospitably. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, good quality bed and bedding. The electric blanket, in the absence of heating and the limited availability of hot running water, is a welcome bonus. Very good restaurant.

The food was very good, even off-season. The room was warm and comfortable. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the airport. The staff were friendly and attentive.
