The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. We got some extended help in getting our currency issue solved. the facility was very quite and clean. Best and affordable croissant in town with latte...must visit if you are a bakery fan. Overall service and food quality was very good.

We can totally recommend staying at Lama Hotel in Lukla. The staff was so friendly, kind and attentive. We felt really taken care of - all of the family helped us organizing another option as our flights got cancelled…..the food was super (we had dinner and breakfast there) the street nice and good to do some shopping before heading back ;-)

The hospitality of the host was exceptional. Nothing was too much for Lakpar Laman( sorry if I spelt your name wrong). Lakpar ( the owner)was really helpful and sorted out any issues that we encountered,with a smile.He went above and beyond what was expected of him as a host. And the food??. Was to die for. Food was really good and the portions were great. We also gathered a lot of general information about Nepal and the owner made time to talk and explain things to us. I would certainly recommend Lama hotel and would definitely stay there again if I’m in the region.We found that we were not just treated as a number but as people that are valued and respected. It was the first time that we got complimentary water and even coffee before we checked out. The room was high and we could see Lukla airport from our room window. The room was as in the photos and was very cosy. We got our food delivered to our room which was a luxury for us in Lukla

Great location, right on the "strip", and only a few minutes away from the airport (convenient for the early take off back to Kathmandu). Also, the place is family owned and the couple running it is extremely kind and helpful. The food is excellent and the rooms are clean.

Check in was easy, right at the aiport (a stones throw away) staff were really friendly, the food and drinks were quality.. they confirmed my flight times, there was a electric blanket and hot shower.. wifi decent as well..
