“it's not a 2 star place but if i had a good night sleep i would be happy”
the food was good, the waiter very helpfull,the location lovelly but i woke up in the middle of the night cold, i try to put the heat up but there not heat at all look to see if there was a spare blanket in wardrobe there was not so put the bath towells and my overcoat and that help a little but it was an unconfortable night. By what i understood the owner more or less said that it was may and i should not expect to have heating on

The staff here were excellent and looked after us considering we did not get there until after 9pm from travelling up from Spain. They stayed open so we could have a drink and some food. Could not fault this place.

Location was good just of motorway room was basic but comfortable, host was very helpful as restaurant was closed and directed us to nearest restaurant . Breakfast was ample with good choice

“Magical villa in the cutest village with the most wonderful host.”
The host is extraordinarily kind and helpful without being intrusive. The villa is really beautiful, like a trip to a recent forgotten past. Lugo is small but really cute.

“My ideal place to stay and eat”
Warm welcome by the chef Vincente booked us in for the room and evening meal understanding what vegan means. The risotto he made for us was wonderful. All the food we witnessed being served looked amazing. Breakfast was equally thought through, delicious bread and homemade jams with fruit salad. A wonderful gem to discover . The room was French chic, the building rustic and welcoming.

We had a one night stop on our way to Spain and this was the perfect layover. Very helpful host. We had a late arrival, and Vincent was very helpful with assisting us with the late check in.

“A lovely auberge”
A lovely little oasis of calm not too far from the motorway. Great food, and excellent value for money.
